My 80's Romance

We have too much fun on this pod talking about our favorite Christmas movie of the 80's...well, Mark says his is Christmas Vacation but this is right up there with it for him.  You can listen to this podcast - which is a love letter to this AWESOME movie - and probably turn on the TV and catch 'A Christmas Story' for the next 48 hours...easily.  Who's your favorite character?  Did you have a Red Ryder BB gun?  Let's not forget 'the battle of the lamp' Oh so good! It's a long way down the Christmas Holiday Road folks!  Rolling on into our second holiday episode (some people don't consider Die Hard a "holiday" movie...but we do!), this is Mark's favorite holiday movie of ALL TIME. It's that time of year...HO HO HO - I have a machine gun and yippee ki ay.... Happy "night before" Thanksgiving! We all know that Thanksgiving is about hanging out and eating all day while watching classic movies. Hey Guys... This week is crazy pants.  We saw Red Dawn and oh boy....a LOT to unpack.  We have Swayze, Lea Thompson, Powers Booth, Charlie Sheen (in his first movie role!) and Jennifer Grey...just to name a few.  What's the best line? Wolverines! or NO CRYING! Let's get to it. 

Hey Guys...we are in 1983!! Whew...broke out of the run of movies in '87 (even though focusing on films in '87 is not a bad thing. So many awesome movies!).  Is this the movie that launched a thousand "at home brothels"?  Who is your favorite character? Michael J Fox is launched from stardom to superstardom with this fabulous, funny and charming take on Marty McFly.  We talk about how this movie is a B.O.A.T ~ best of all time.  Sooooo, why don't you make like a tree...and go listen to this episode of my 80's romance.
