One of the most expensive visas in Australia. The application costs $7850 AUD!! There is no guarantee of a visa grant either, you still have to prepare an excellent application that meets all the requirements. Make sure you have supporting documentation to support all 4 aspects of your relationship.
This temporary visa allows an employer to sponsor a suitably skilled worker to fill a vacancy gap for which an Australian is not available. There are two streams available under subclass 482. Short-term stream - You can stay for up to 2 years or up to 4 years if an International Trade Obligation (ITO) applies. Hong Kong passport holders may stay up to 5 years. Medium-term stream - You can stay for up to 4 years, and Hong Kong passport holders may stay up to 5 years. If eligible, you can apply for permanent residence. WA's 2023-24 Invitations: A Quick Recap Eligibilities: - You must be under 45 years of age - Have at least competent English - Must have a valid Skills Assessment in an eligible occupation In addition to that, the 491 & 190 visa were open to onshore, interstate, and offshore applicants.
