thank you for this episode. there are a few things that I can add based on my "Shahnameh" knowledge: The word "Nahang" in those days meant crocodile, not whale. Simurgh in Shahnameh apparently has a husband. it's just mentioned once. and I think the three feathers of Simurgh is just a recent assumption. in Shahnameh Zaal and Rostam used two of the feathers and some people assumed there is one feather left.
