Description

Feed your sense of wanderlust and get inspiration and ideas for hiking trips of your own from Nature's Finest, a talk show showcasing amazing places for hiking and recreation in Kentucky and bordering states. Episodes will generally be about 45-60 minutes in length, covering everything from nearby lodging and food to all the park's amenities, of course including a long discussion of trails and hiking in the park.

Whether you're looking for somewhere with family fun, history, backpacking, vast overlooks, or a combination, you're bound to find your next destination right here, on Nature's Finest. 1-2 new episodes per month!

My aim is to be a great resource on places to visit and escape the fluorescent lights or city noise, but this is an entertainment show, and you should contact real pros, like a Ranger's Office, for example, and be sure to do your own homework before tackling a new destination. There's no such thing as too much research when it comes to Mother Nature. Always take notice of posted recreation rules and recommendations wherever you go.

To your benefit, I had a lot to say about this place, and I hope you'll feel inspired to visit. And please bear with me in this episode--I used my backup microphone to record parts of this episode to keep the show on track, but you may notice slightly lower recording quality. Next episode will be crystal clear, however! While my aim is to be a great source for general info and inspiration for your future travels, this is ultimately an entertainment show, and all the destinations I discuss are entered at the visitor’s own risk. That said, you can know exactly what you’re getting yourself into by calling or stopping by the front desk or ranger station of the park you’re visiting, and hear firsthand from a real pro just what it’ll take to make your experience safe, memorable, and fun. Safe travels, and thanks for listening!
