The Nerd Herders have done retro wrestling episodes in the past, focusing on specific decades of the sport, but in this episode they talk about the present, or more specifically the WWE 2018 Royal Rumble approaching. Join them for an interesting approach on the subject from the nerd culture side of it, the fan side, and the "in" side as hosts Foxy Foxxy and Damian Dragon ARE former independent professional wrestlers.

There's finally been that Women's Revolution in Pop Culture that everyone has wanted and waited so long for! Or, is it all just a phrase companies throw around to appease us? In this episode, The Nerd Herders take a look at the two steps forward that WOMEN are finally getting out of movies, video games, comics, toys and more...and yet how all those things are STILL two steps back within society. *WARNING* This is NOT a debate, but an actual discussion based on observations, as well as topics and comments made during previous episodes.

Spike give his B-movie pick of the week, Danielle gives her book pick of the week, and honorary Nerd Herder Gen (who spend hours in line at NYC’s downtown location of Midtown Comics) reports the NEW POLICY regarding New York Comic Con tickets that those who ordered their tickets online don’t know of yet, how this will affect NYCC as a whole and how will it affect us going to NYCC, as well as overall NYCC experience. This evenings topic was one that Damian and Foxy were “chomping at the bit” to do for an entire year! It was Shark Week Extravaganza! Shark Week this year was covered on both the Discovery channel and National Geographic Wild, Damian and Foxy spoke in length about two new programs that aired that week which were entitled documentaries, but weren’t. The Nerd Herders have an avid love for B-rated shark movies, so they spoke in great length about those, as well as other notable shark films like Jaws and Deep Blue Sea.
