Description

An in-depth approach to sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.

Net Cast was designed based on principles that Jesus shared with His disciples when they were fishing, by casting nets (See Luke 5:1-11). He told them that they would be fishers of men and they followed Him.

Net Cast has fishing for souls as its primary objective. We hope to help bring you closer to Christ through the studies of the word of God offered here.

In a fitting way, this Song about sexual pleasure and the pursuit of a lover will end with a message on sexual purity in love. In beautiful symbolic language, the girl will be asked if she was a wall (fortified and secure) or if she was a door (open to all). She will decide and explain that she has kept herself pure for her lover. There are limitations to passionate intimacy that often leave us reeling and aching with unfulfilled desires. There are barriers that stand between us and our lover. We must honor God by maintaining purity outside of marriage, and yet we are still met with the obstacles of where and when to show our affection even after we are married, in order to be acceptable in social circles. Listen as we discuss how the young girl in our Song wishes that her lover was her brother so that it would be approved for her to show him affection openly.  --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/netcast/message
After the young man in our Song praised the beauty of his beloved girl from her feet to her head, he takes a second look and tells her of his desire for intimacy with her only. She answers with an invitation to fulfill his desires by planning an excursion into the countryside where they can be alone to imbibe each other's love fully. Join us as we follow this love story and see desire realized.  WARNING: The following material is intended for mature audiences. Right after the girl in our Song describes her lover according to how she feels about him, we begin a new cycle in the Song of Songs where he will provide another partial wasf to describe her beauty that excels all other maidens in the community. He will offer lofty praise to the girl, not in the form of flattery, but based on what he truly feels about her in his heart.  WARNING: The following material is intended for mature audiences. In the last episode, we talked about how the young girl in the Song of Songs piqued the interest of the daughters of Jerusalem about her lover when she gave a detailed description of what he means to her. Today our episode begins with the young girl being shaken from what appears to be a nightmare and there is a happy resolution to all of her concerns of losing her lover as they are said to have fulfilled their love together. We want to address the subject of being faithful in our covenant relationship in marriage so that we can alleviate some of the nightmarish behaviors that we see in our culture today.  WARNING: The following material is intended for mature audiences. If you had to give a report to the local police department to describe someone that you love when they were missing, how would you portray them? In this episode, the young girl in our Song will express her heartfelt feelings in another wasf in order to answer the questions of the daughters of Jerusalem and perhaps pique their interest in joining her in search of her lover. She will paint a picture with her words that will show them how handsome that he is to her.    WARNING: The following material is intended for mature audiences. After a patient and passionate pursuit of love in marriage, these lovers will imbibe deeply in the intimacy that they have longed for in their relationship. It is beautiful when a couple waits eagerly until they are married to share their most intimate love together. As we will point out by contrasting this passage with Proverbs 7, sexual passion and intimacy have many similarities in and out of marriage. The fact is, the fornicator and adulterer God will judge. The difference then is whether God approves of the union and whether we can participate in the celebration of the love entered into by a man and a woman, based on God's will.  If it is approved, we encourage the new couple to have their fill of lovemaking.  WARNING: The following material is intended for mature audiences. There have been many analogies used to describe someone that is loved by a spouse. In this study, we will see the young girl in our Song described as a garden locked, a rock garden full of spices, fruits, and a spring sealed that is full of fresh flowing water. Looking at the one we love and praising the features that enrapture us is a common practice among lovers. In our Song, we will see something similar and this is called a "wasf" in ancient Arabic love poetry. This word simply means description, but it is used here to describe metaphorically the way that someone appears through the eyes of love. Listen as we see how the beloved girl captures the heart of her man.  WARNING: The following material is intended for mature audiences. Being in love makes us feel like royalty and we feel like we are on top of the world. We have found someone that is special and unique and they bring sweetness to our life by their presence. In this part of our study, the beloved girl will be coming to the king, like royalty and he will protect her and provide for her in whatever way that he needs to. Why is it that these feelings subside over time? How do we keep love alive and maintain this drive to be exhilarated always with a lover? Let me also mention that today is the first birthday of Net Cast. On this date last year, the premiere episode was launched. Thank you for listening, sending positive vibes my way. I especially want to thank our supporters who gave monetary gifts to help offset the costs associated with studio needs, supplies, and maintaining the host site: www.netcasthost.com. I hope that your support will continue as I anticipate another great year for the podcast. I have been encouraged by the material we have shared together and my prayer is that each episode has been a blessing to your faith.  WARNING: The following material is intended for mature audiences. While this is a Bible study, the Song of Songs is written with references to sexual themes, intimate textual innuendos, and suggestive figurative language that may not be suitable for some audiences. Listener discretion is advised. It is recommended that you approach this book from God with pure motives and pray that His will in preserving these song lyrics can be a blessing to you. Have you ever had a dream about missing someone or losing someone and you go on an adventure to find them? Most of us would consider this to be a nightmare. Our subconscious mind causes us to reflect in dreams on the things we are most passionate about in life. In the message today, we will ask tough questions about our dreams and how to temper them with reality and waiting for the appropriate time to make our dreams come true.  WARNING: The following material is intended for mature audiences. When obstacles stand in the way of our relationship with a lover, we need to know how to overcome them. In this portion of the Song of Songs, we see where little foxes are trying to bring chaos to the garden of love, by destroying the fresh blossoms. In this message, we explore what the little foxes represent and then offer a few words of caution for how to defeat them and safely move into our love with a partner that we feel passionately about in our life.  WARNING: The following material is intended for mature audiences. What do you do when you have become lovesick? We have all been there if we have ever pursued love. We groan, ache, and swoon for the fulfillment found in romantic love, and until we get what we are looking for, we are sick inside.  We are sick with love because we cannot make love when we want it, but lovesick because it won't get better until we do.  WARNING: The following material is intended for mature audiences.
