Description

An in-depth approach to sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.

Net Cast was designed based on principles that Jesus shared with His disciples when they were fishing, by casting nets (See Luke 5:1-11). He told them that they would be fishers of men and they followed Him.

Net Cast has fishing for souls as its primary objective. We hope to help bring you closer to Christ through the studies of the word of God offered here.

Looking at the one we love and praising the features that enrapture us is a common practice among lovers. In our Song, we will see something similar and this is called a "wasf" in ancient Arabic love poetry. This word simply means description, but it is used here to describe metaphorically the way that someone appears through the eyes of love. Listen as we see how the beloved girl captures the heart of her man.  WARNING: The following material is intended for mature audiences. Being in love makes us feel like royalty and we feel like we are on top of the world. We have found someone that is special and unique and they bring sweetness to our life by their presence. In this part of our study, the beloved girl will be coming to the king, like royalty and he will protect her and provide for her in whatever way that he needs to. Why is it that these feelings subside over time? How do we keep love alive and maintain this drive to be exhilarated always with a lover? Let me also mention that today is the first birthday of Net Cast. On this date last year, the premiere episode was launched. Thank you for listening, sending positive vibes my way. I especially want to thank our supporters who gave monetary gifts to help offset the costs associated with studio needs, supplies, and maintaining the host site: www.netcasthost.com. I hope that your support will continue as I anticipate another great year for the podcast. I have been encouraged by the material we have shared together and my prayer is that each episode has been a blessing to your faith.  WARNING: The following material is intended for mature audiences. Have you ever had a dream about missing someone or losing someone and you go on an adventure to find them? Most of us would consider this to be a nightmare. Our subconscious mind causes us to reflect in dreams on the things we are most passionate about in life. In the message today, we will ask tough questions about our dreams and how to temper them with reality and waiting for the appropriate time to make our dreams come true.  WARNING: The following material is intended for mature audiences. When obstacles stand in the way of our relationship with a lover, we need to know how to overcome them. In this portion of the Song of Songs, we see where little foxes are trying to bring chaos to the garden of love, by destroying the fresh blossoms. In this message, we explore what the little foxes represent and then offer a few words of caution for how to defeat them and safely move into our love with a partner that we feel passionately about in our life.  WARNING: The following material is intended for mature audiences. When someone takes the initiative to invite someone they love to join them on an adventure, we hope that they will accept? What do you do when you have become lovesick? We have all been there if we have ever pursued love. We groan, ache, and swoon for the fulfillment found in romantic love, and until we get what we are looking for, we are sick inside.  We are sick with love because we cannot make love when we want it, but lovesick because it won't get better until we do.  WARNING: The following material is intended for mature audiences. Often in a love relationship, we struggle to feel unique and special to the one we are in love with for life. We can feel like one in a million and that is not to say that we are one of a kind, but to express that there is nothing that makes us stand alone in the crowd. In this session, we will see our couple getaway and praise each other in spite of the insecurities being expressed. The young man will tear down her doubt by building her up and offering reassuring words that she rises above any other woman in existence. We will also explore the idea that the Lord has singled us out as peculiar in the face of Him coming to demonstrate His love for the entire world. Your soul is cherished by the Lord and He loves you.   WARNING: The following material is intended for mature audiences. It is wonderful for lovers to get away from it all and offer their adoration and praise of one another. This gives us the opportunity to clear our view of distractions and take in all of the qualities that we cherish in the one that we love. When someone praises you for what they admire about you, it is important to reciprocate how we feel. If this is no longer happening in your relationships, perhaps it is time for a trip to renew and express our feelings by creating a canopy of praise.  WARNING: The following material is intended for mature audiences. Certain qualities in our lover can bring out the animal inside of us? We act abruptly and in some cases, out of control. This is what we refer to as "Love Crazy". In this episode, we are going to learn why the man in our Song refers to his beloved girl as a mare among the chariots of stallions. We will also discuss the importance of finding a balance between the internal beauty of the heart and the outward adornment of jewels, fabrics and scents, to accent our natural allurement.  WARNING: The following material is intended for mature audiences. Today we are going to confront self-esteem and self-image. The young girl in our Song says that she is black but lovely because she was forced to work out in the sun and became burned and sun-tanned. She felt like this affected her ability to compete with other women that could care for themselves on a daily basis. How do you feel about yourself? Do you feel inadequate with your looks in the world? Why are we always following the modern-day trends and styles to be like others? Do we struggle from the same issues that this young girl has to deal with on a daily basis? What kind of self-esteem do you have? We hear the masses shouting their personal woes endlessly. "I’m too tall or way too short! I’m too fat or too skinny! My skin is too fair or too dark" etc. etc. For some people, it may not be something to do with outward presentation or appearance. Others might be dealing with emotional scars. Join us as we dig deeper into these challenging questions to understand God's will on these matters. BONUS: We will take a few minutes in this episode to discuss the current race issues occurring in every major city across America and share some facts that you need to know from God's word. We need to prayerfully proceed with His wisdom so that we can repent and put a peaceful end to this hurtful dilemma that is tearing us apart.  WARNING: The following material is intended for mature audiences.
