The death of Eddie Wells in 1982 would seem like a straightforward case. His body was found floating in the Mississippi River in New Orleans’ Upper 9th Ward. The narrative shifts to New Orleans East.  Vic’s family moves to that neighborhood and he believes he can avoid Stanley Burkhardt.  He’s proven wrong and something proves to be even more chilling when he says Burkhardt shows him a set of photos.

Why can’t the host pronounce “especially “? It’s so unprofessional and irritating. She pronounces it “eckspecially”, which is how 5 year olds who haven’t learned to spell yet might say it. It detracts from the good content of the show and I’m not sure how no one was there to check her on it since she obviously is oblivious. Baffling.

I was watching a documentary on Hulu called children of the snow, that was about the exact same time frame, late 1970s, and I was BLOWN AWAY WHEN THEY ACTUALLY REFERENCED TIES between a child porn ring in Chicago, North Fox Island, and porn rings in New Orleans. this is crazy!!!! great reporting!!
