The party unintentionally destroys a bunch of irreplaceable artifacts, fights a witch, and gets their arses wiped by an old enemy.

The sun sets and the beleaguered city of Chicago turns into a riotous battleground. The Reckoning continues to make new friends and enemies as they encounter street level supers doing their best, and the whole affair ends in an army assault against the Knights of Technocracy. Also Sarah gets a little action, so that's cool. 

Malcolm is free from jail and the remaining members of the team have received their super suits (and then some). Now, for the first time, Malcolm will step out and see what Chicago has become since that fateful night.

Malcolm's prison stay draws near its end, while Alejandro's has just begun. Sarah struggles to understand these heroes and their motivations (and whether or not she belongs here), while Aurelius discovers why one should never meet their heroes.
