A package of legislation from state Representative Pauline Wendzel intended to bolster development of the nuclear industry in Michigan has been approved by the state House. Leaders at Benton Harbor's Dial A Ride service are expecting some effects on the bottom line from a crash involving a Dial A ride bus this month. The city of St. Joseph has formally been granted Certified status as a Redevelopment Ready Community with an award presented by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation this week.
