Tune into Episode 49 with special guest Amber Mihna from Staglin Family Vineyard. Many laughs were shared while reviewing the 2014 and 2023 September police logs. Our hosts were able to compare and contrast the delicious 2014 and 2016 Staglin Family Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon while also learning about the Staglin family’s incredible work for mental health and brain research. Episode 48 welcomes guest Jason Lede, communications director with Cliff Lede Vineyards, for a fun night of wine and crime. The August 2007 and 2023 police logs were enjoyed while savoring a bottle of 2021 Cliff Lede Rhythm Cabernet Sauvignon hailing from the Stags Leap district. The second bottle comes to light after a blind tasting. Tune in to find out the surprise wine and its incredible flavor profile. Listeners learn about Jason’s blossoming DJ career, harvest around the world, all things Cliff Lede Vineyards including their different wine brands, their tasting experience and the Poetry Inn. Tune into episode 47 to revel in the parallels of wine and racing with local celebrity Rico Abreu.  In honor of the late Mike Chelini, the group enjoyed an unbelievable 1992 Stony Hill Chardonnay. The July 2023 and July 2007 police logs were reviewed while hearing about Rico's journey to becoming a processional race car driver.  Listeners can enjoy hearing about his exciting life on the road and what goes into crossing the finish line first. Nine One Wine is kicking off the new year with episode 46 and special guest police chief Chris Hartley. Enjoy hearing about his journey from the Marine Corps to St. Helena Police Department Chief. The June 2023 and June 1999 police logs were discussed while enjoying a non alcoholic sparking chardonnay. Episode highlights include an injured raven, the potential felony of an injured bunny, and his most memorable calls. Conversations were had on flock cameras, the hiring process of St. Helena PD and the shift in training from drug arrests to mental health education. Tune in for a light hearted episode that gives inside look at Napa Valley crime and the individuals protecting us. 

Episode 45 is the perfect kick off to the holiday season with the biggest gin martini fan in Napa Valley, Chris Hall. The group enjoyed chatting all things Long Meadow Ranch including Farmstead, the farmers market, wine and exciting future projects. The June 2018 and June 2023 police logs were reviewed while savoring the 2015 Long Meadow Ranch EJ Church Cabernet Sauvignon and 2018 Long Meadow Ranch Anderson Valley Estate Blanc De Noirs. Episode highlight include sun bathing neighbors, hotels of St. Helena, earthquake alerts and memories of “The Spot”. While reviewing the April 2007 and April 2023 police logs the group enjoyed a 2019 Coil Pinot Noir and a 2018 Ad Vivum Cabernet Sauvignon. The group enjoyed a 2018 Taplin Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon made by the famous Julien Fayard. The March 2023 and March 2011 police logs were reviewed while exploring the extensive Taplin family tree.  Highlights of the episodes include the consequences of a delayed tow truck, trespassers desperate for a phone charge, suspicious walking attire and a German Shepard who made the RLS field its litter box. Join Nine One Wine for episode 42 with special guest Elliot Bell. The group enjoyed some fabulous French champagne while reviewing the February 2010 and 2023 police log. Listen along to hear Elliot's culinary journey and what brought him to St. Helena. Well known for his time at the famous "The French Laundry"; listeners get a sneak peak at his new restaurant in the making. Coming to a spot well known by the locals, "Charlies" fills a need craved by the community. Highlights of the episode include an injured squirrel, school board recall and a tipping controversy. Episode 41 is an insight into one of the most prestigious wine brands. Enjoy as Nine One Wine interviews Brad Grimes from Abreu Vineyards. With no set style and some cowboy winemaking, tune in to learn about Brad's journey into becoming a winemaker.  Also known for his incredible "cooking", Hillary and Chris got to enjoy some delicious snacks while recording. January 2000 and January 2023 were reviewed while drinking the ultimate treat of a 2019 Domaine Rene et Vincent Dauvissat Chablis and a 2000 Abreu Madrona Ranch. Highlights of the episode include leaf blower tattle telling, self referral of a breathalyzer, and a determined patron seeking a specific postcard. Enjoy this outstanding episode with a deep dive into the special culture of wine making. 

Episode 41 is joined by life of the party Katie Leonardini representing Whitelane Winery. The night started with margaritas and Whitehall Lane Blanc de Noirs sparkling wine. Chris pulled out the treat of a 1990 Whitehall Lane Morisoli Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon. It aged beautifully and was worth the 33 year wait. The group also tasted the crisp and delicious 2021 Whitehall Lane Semillon while reviewing the December 2022 and December 1993 police log. Highlights of the episode include an errant pig, a soaking dog with signage, a speeding Prius and the excitement of pickle ball. Episode 38 takes place in Yountville with special guest Kerrin Laz of K. Laz Wine Collection. Learn about Kerri's  journey from working her way up from a wine buyer in Washington D.C. to the Wine Director of Dean and Deluca in the Napa Valley, to her own label and beyond.  The September 2022 and September 2014 police log were reviewed while enjoying a 2021 Shared Notes  Sauvignon Blanc from Russian River Valley. This episode goes beyond the wine with importance of wine growers and raising money for the Alzheimer's Association through photography. Highlights of the episode include the homecoming incident, fake Irish accents, adjusting wine selling strategies with changing economies and the scandals of fresh air. Episode 36 is a special treat with a on location recording at arguably the most famous vineyard in the country and a guest interview with the incredible Trevor Traina. The August 2018 and 2022 police log are reviewed while discussing snippets of his vibrant life. These include the daily tasks as Ambassador to Austria, adventures in North Korea, vintage cars, an exquisite art collection, and his newest project with Web 3. The group enjoyed Pop 300, a delicious Pinot Noir, made from the surrounding To Kalon vineyard. Highlights of the episode include a fraudulent jack hammer rental, chasing foxes, and some rogue tree chopping. Nine One Wine gives their listeners a holiday gift with a special bonus episode. Chris and Hillary venture to the world famous Napa Valley Wine Train, currently owned by Noble House Hotels & Resorts, Ltd., to chat with GM Nathan Davis. Listeners will be immersed in both the history of the Napa Valley Wine Train and how it helped develop Napa Valley into the place it is today. The October 2022 and October 1989 St. Helena Police Log were reviewed while the group enjoyed a collection of delicious wines that are served on the train including a Chandon sparkling wine, 2019 Raymond Reserve Chardonnay and 2019 Raymond Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. Episode 33 is on location at the Migliavacca Mansion with special guests Katie Migliavacca and Vincent Traverso of Migliavacca Wine Company. For Episode 30 the Nine One Wine crew goes on an adventure to the home of the patriotic pour, Sherwin Family Vineyards. Located in the Spring Mountain district, we are joined by father son duo, Matt and Steve Sherwin. The March 1996 and 2022 police logs were reviewed while enjoying the delicious Sherwin Family Vineyards 2017 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, 2018 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon and Cellar Scraps #15. Highlights of the episode include rebuilding after the fire, a struggling squirrel, skunk euthanasia, and professional owl hooters. Enjoy another charming episode of animal based crime and amazing family owned wines. 

Episode 29 is a joined by special guest, third generation farmer, Kirk Venge. The group was spoiled with five different wines through the episode including a 2021 Venge Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc, 2010 Frazier Cabernet Sauvignon and a 2008 Venge Vineyards Port. Listeners can also laugh along as Hillary and Chris struggle with a blind tasting of 2015 Forman Cabernet Sauvignon, and 2015 Chateau Pichon Longueville Comtesse De Lalande.
