Tune into Episode 49 with special guest Amber Mihna from Staglin Family Vineyard. Many laughs were shared while reviewing the 2014 and 2023 September police logs. Episode 41 is joined by life of the party Katie Leonardini representing Whitelane Winery. The night started with margaritas and Whitehall Lane Blanc de Noirs sparkling wine. Chris pulled out the treat of a 1990 Whitehall Lane Morisoli Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon. It aged beautifully and was worth the 33 year wait. The group also tasted the crisp and delicious 2021 Whitehall Lane Semillon while reviewing the December 2022 and December 1993 police log. Highlights of the episode include an errant pig, a soaking dog with signage, a speeding Prius and the excitement of pickle ball. Listeners will be immersed in both the history of the Napa Valley Wine Train and how it helped develop Napa Valley into the place it is today. Located in the Spring Mountain district, we are joined by father son duo, Matt and Steve Sherwin. The March 1996 and 2022 police logs were reviewed while enjoying the delicious Sherwin Family Vineyards 2017 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, 2018 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon and Cellar Scraps #15. Highlights of the episode include rebuilding after the fire, a struggling squirrel, skunk euthanasia, and professional owl hooters.
