It's another quiet week here at the Nintendo Voice Chat world headquarters. Nintendo did show off its new museum in a Direct, and it was as charming and interesting as you'd expect. Gamescom is also happening this week and there's actually nothing Nintendo to report. They didn't even go this year. However, August 23, 1991 does mark the anniversary of the Super NES North American release, and there are always plenty of questions to answer. Join Logan Plant, Jada Griffin, Reb Valentine and Seth Macy for another wonderful episode of your favorite Nintendo podcast. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
OK, sure, we can all agree Nintendo did it better in the end, but there was a time there when being a Nintendo kid was tough thanks to the genius marketing and 2-year head-start SEGA had in the 16-bit gaming space. The SEGA Genesis was a really excellent console, and put up a valiant fight against the Super NES during the darkest days of the console wars of the early 1990s. It had a CD-ROM! It had an expansion so you could play 32-bit games! But perhaps most importantly, it had a plucky blue fellow by the name of Sonic. Join Jada Griffin, Seth Macy and special guests Khalilah Alston and Jared Petty as we take a walk down memory lane. Presented by NHTSA Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Finally, Logan talks about Aero GPX, the F-Zero spiritual successor you need to play, and we tackle your Nintendo questions in Question Block. Learn more about your ad choices. You can't recommend Burnout because it is cheaper on other platforms? That's great if you are RICH and own all of them. There is NOTHING comparable to the style and quality of that game on Switch right now, and as a Switch only player, the Xbox or Playstation versions are not $15. They are $215, because I need to buy another console to play them. Burnout has not been on a Nintendo platform since 2 on the GameCube. I wasn't MORE games like this. I preordered it at full price immediately. I don't know why more Nintendo Players are not begging for more games like this. Why does Nintendo not have their own Road and Track Franchise?

I can't criticize this post.... Because the comment section isn't the place for criticism. Kinda how IGN reviews aren't the place for that either...

It's very interesting to hear that games like Xenoblade Chronicles: Torna The Golden Country are too difficult for these guys. I will just take it as "We play a lot of games so we couldn't dedicate enough time to learn all of the mechanics" instead.
