during the hobbit, Gandalf leaves to fight off the Necromancer (they show this in the PJ movies.)
the necromancer is assumed to be the form of Sauron as his power is returning.
so it's possible that Saurons power took a while to fully return.
also, it is posited that Bilbo hadn't worn the ring much since the events of the Hobbit (maybe not at all.) when he put it on at his birthday, it actually began the events of LOTR because suddenly Sauron knew where the ring was.
missed a bleep on destin lol keep up the good work guys

This episode was an eye-opening, funny view into the world of Marine boot camp - a world that most of us will never see for ourselves.
And these guys depend on the warm water bidet to much. A cold water bidet is just fine. Toughen up
Not sure if you guys will see this...but China won't be on the upswing until they stop putting muslims into concentration camps.
Thank you so much for this episode. I was in a terrible mood when I left the house but now I'm driving to church crying from laughter. You're a blessing.
Getting rid of guitars because "we can do better with computers" is akin to saying we should get rid of books because we have iPads
DESTIIIIIIIN!!!! If you like Andrew Peterson's music, you should definitely check out his song called "The Sowers Song". just wanted to throw that out there 👍
I'm guessing you guys don't read comments on here...but I really liked Matt's description of beauty and living in the moment. And I can definitely tell how different you two are!
This movie was an amazing nostalgia trip for 80s and 90s kids. As far as lacking magic or fun, I will vehemently disagree. I absolutely loved all the references. It did not make the film less. As far as nothing more to it then "remember that", I think that shows that the entire point of the movie went right over your head, Matt.
That wasn't about net neutrality. that was about stuff that's going on with video games right now with microtransactions, DLCs, and tiered versions of games that essentially sell power to players in multiplayer games. so the rich kid can now kick your ass in a game, too.
Ready Player One is a great fun movie aside from any deviations from the book. Sounds like "film snob" guy went in ready to pick apart anything and everything that came across the screen.
Two awesome guys, love hearing you guys talk! Keep it up!!
love the podcast. it's fun, light, and interesting!!

Once I faced Sleep Paralysis, a horror night I still remember.
