So he sent out 200 letters apologizing to families but says he can't give them any reasons, but at same time telling his lawyer plenty. That's a piece of shit move for a guy already in prison and sentenced....

I love this series. But leading us to believe that these upstanding citizens did what they did because they are descendants of slaves is so insulting to enslaved people. Like, how many years removed from slavery do they have to be for it not to color everything they do? They had done amazing to rise above it. I am sure they didn't want the world to be reminded of it and it attributed to everything that they do. Good people of all colors sometimes do bad things and get in over their heads.
