After a 3-week break, the podcast is back with guest Anthony Sundquist, a Buffalo, NY based comedian.
Jamal, Marianne and Romeo took a safari excursion at a wildlife park in Southern Oregon, touring different animal habitats including African and Asian sections. During the drive-through tour, they observed various animals including lions, water buffalo, giraffes, elephants, rhinoceros, zebras, bears, red wolves, and emus, with Jamal providing commentary and recording the experience. The group stopped at designated feeding areas to interact with deer and other animals, though they encountered an aggressive emu that bit Jamal's hand. They discussed the park's conservation efforts, particularly for endangered red wolves, and noted they received free admission as first responders and veterans. The recording captured their reactions to different animals, with particular focus on the emus' unusual appearance and aggressive behavior, as well as the beauty of the Pacific Northwest scenery surrounding the wildlife park.
This episode live from a wildlife safari in Winston, Oregon, where the gang explored various animal exhibits including twin cheetahs, monkeys, flamingos, and goats. During the visit, Jamal observed cheetahs relaxing in the shade, watched sleeping flamingos standing upright with one leg cocked, and interacted with curious monkeys. The podcast episode included Jamal's firsthand observations and commentary about the animals. Apologies for the technical interruptions/difficulties.
