Just a loose glimpse into what it means to me and what I learned as a young father. Not too much detail given but hopefully some messages stick.
Dropping the ball is only over if you don’t pick it up to keep your drive alive
Don’t be the guy/gal in the back of the line not getting his/hers because of impatience or bitterness. Love every moment of your work.
Thanksgiving just went by for those of us that celebrate it but don’t make that an excuse to be thankful for a day, that should be on your mind 365.
Give yourself a chance to get what you want by understanding you must fight relentlessly without excuses.
When things get away from you, don’t close your eyes to your situation. Work it out until you’re back on track.
Unpleasant things become easier when we don’t speak negatively about them. Thoughts while walking in from lunch.
Just to touch on how my day had been going today in hopes that my reflection of the first half helps others realize that it’s not halftime and kindness always wins the game.
How many small things can you solve in a day by just being accountable for EVERY moment in your life? How you respond to things makes a difference.
Keep reminding yourself why you do what you do and keep it fresh so you can keep going.
I say this a lot but don’t give up. Try your best and keep going. Not everything will be great at the start or the middle but get through the rough to get to your diamond.
After you plan and prepare, time for the final step: action.
Keep in mind that Friday is just another day to get after what you want. Don’t be the “TGIF” guy or gal that allows someone else to get theirs because they don’t want to finish the week. GO GET IT.
Just spoke briefly with a good friend of mine, just wanted to say how happy I am for him that he is making progress.
You always have the option to change your mind. What can you do to fix it? Can’t get anything done when you’re clouded by anger or sadness. Reset and keep going.
