Now Urbanism: City-making in the 21st Century and Beyond - Group 1

Now Urbanism is the University of Washington's 2010-2011 John E. Sawyer Seminar Series and is aimed at generating an engaging and interdisciplinary conversation about the present moment and prospective futures of the urban age. The series includes discussion of the social, cultural, economic, political, and environmental challenges to the vitality of urban spaces and places.
Now Urbanism holds that we must move beyond visions of cities that disregard the richness and complexity of the present. Urban is not just a form of human settlement -- It is a way of looking at the world.
