Football season has taken over, and the guys can not be more excited about it! Jess and Tim sit down to talk about what their strategy is in fantasy football this year. Jess is fresh off a lavish vacation at Universal Studios Orlando, and we have a fresh look in the podcast studio.
We're all back together again, and we just can't seem to escape the number three... Tim and Jess get together after a few busy weeks of not recording. This week we discuss the process of Jesse getting his first tattoo, Tim goes into detail about exclusive vinyl toy collecting. Also, Jesse sees a ghost from his past that has sent him in a spiral. Would we ever go to a comic con to get collectable items only sold at the convention? Summer is proving to be event-filled. Conversation this week includes Tim's pool day with Dan, Ash's experience reporting for jury duty, Jesse's new foray into golf, the "hawk tuah" phenomenon, and the coming conclusion of Jesse & Tim's RuneScape challenge. We also make predictions on the games of an NFL season that has already been played. Whoops!
This week, Ash gets moved and settled into his new place, Jess hosts his in-laws, and Tim recovers from a stomach virus just in time to record the podcast and begin a new work week. (Get that money!) We discuss the recent deaths of three noteworthy athletes, the upcoming Impractical Jokers show in Atlanta, the latest Nintendo Direct, and the NBA finals. Who is in town!? It's none other than friends of the show, Seth & Navarro! The guys make the trip down from Atlanta to bless us with their presence, bringing all the good vibes with them. Navarro gives us an update on life as a father, while Jess recounts the good old days of playing Call of Duty with the guys. Seth and Tim reminisce on a trip to Mexico they will never forget, and we try to figure out if we will ever see our friend get his Tesla CyberTruck.
Ever heard of a cold storage wallets and crypto whales? Neither had Jesse and Ashton. Thankfully, Tim educates us this week through a surprisingly informed update on the world of crypto. Our conversation also incldues Jesse's growing confusion over how GameStop is still in business, the ethics of donating used clothing, and how awesome it's going to be to all live in the same neighborhood. And last but not least: happy birthday, Jess!!
Ashton takes a week off! Jess and Tim take some time out of their busy schedules to catch up on the NBA playoffs, RuneScape, recent Lego purchases, and do some blind taste testing of whiskey that Tim has hunted down. Join us as we discuss her experience as a postpartum nurse, why she enjoys Atlanta’s Renaissance Festival, Disney, “coffee moods”, her Millennium Falcon dream team, and how she fell in love with Jesse. What a time to be alive!
At long last, Tim’s younger brother, Jake, makes his first appearance on the podcast! With cold drinks in his hands and cool crocs on his feet (sport mode: activated), Jake flexes his expert-level video game knowledge and answers our rapid-fire questions with poise and confidence. If only he knew how to correctly hold a microphone! Other topics include fatherhood, Gundam model kits, collegiate mischief, and Jake’s favorite moments from Tim’s wedding.
