#28 – Today Saurubh & Barbi discuss the newly released Framework for School Age Care in Australia – V2.0. The approach was to not talk about eithers thoughts or findings beforehand & the episode is a genuine open discussion of what they found from their first look. Come listen to their journey! We would love to know what your thoughts are too?
Saurubh and Barbi are excited to release this episode of the podcast, with none other than the ‘queen of common sense’ herself, Maggie Dent. After we took a moment to let it sink in that we were chatting with Maggie, we dived right in to everything children and the place educators play in children’s worlds. We go on a rollercoaster ride of first acknowledging the important role of educators in OSHC, how we must be in atonement to what the children need, circle to the importance of knowing how to redirect our own cortisol, being aware of ‘body budgets’ in children and even neuroplasticity!
#26 The child’s imprint

#26 The child’s imprint

2022-05-3101:16:03

This episode we had the pleasure of Lukas Ritson from Wearthy joining the discussion on all things play. Alongside Barbi and Saurubh, we had guest host Calum Waldegrave join us from Japan as we delved into where we played as children, the importance of children’s imprint in designing playgrounds and much more. A fun one, full of laughs and some golden knowledge shared by all. One not to be missed!
Today Saurubh & Barbi discuss a not often spoken about, but very important part of our workplaces. We chat all things Employee Engagement and how that could look in a service, from onboarding, performance appraisals, offboarding and more. We chat on how they are all connected, experiences we have had, and give ideas on what could be done and thoughts for further discovery.
