In part one you were introduced to our flea-bitten Romeo and Juliet, Amanda and Jerad Miller. Jerad, unwashed and dressed in flea market chic, told you all about his beliefs about the New World Order.Amanda made a post on Facebook on how she daydreamed about the end of the world. How she wanted to kill the unbelievers with a shotgun when that day came. Today, we bring everything home. Let's explore their violent end.Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/obscura-a-true-crime-podcast/exclusive-contentAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
This episode features real audio from Jerad Miller’s now deleted YouTube channel. The clips will play throughout the episode to give you a glimpse into a disturbed mind. With that said, I want to make it clear that there isn't political message. Listener, in today’s episode I’m going to do my best to avoid bias. I am covering the killing of Sonya Massey by a then-Sangamon County Sheriff's deputy named Sean Grayson. I am going to distribute the facts by use of court documents, news articles, and how they appear to my naked eye.Join Black Label on Patreon at Patreon.com/obscuracrimepodcastSupport this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/obscura-a-true-crime-podcast/exclusive-contentAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
Listener, in today’s episode we will refer to the victim of this case simply as M.S. This is for the safety of the victim, as she’s already been through enough. I ask that you leave the victim alone and not go out of your way to track down her name. Now, let’s get on with it.Join the Black Label on Patreon at https://www.patreon.com/obscuracrimepodcastSupport this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/obscura-a-true-crime-podcast/exclusive-contentAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
Peter Sotos is potentially the single most controversial figure in True Crime. A godfather of the genre, he pushed the boundaries in ways that made even yours truly uncomfortable. This is a collaborative project put together with fellow True Crime creator T.Z. Borden. He's the host and creator of the excellent Tapes from the Darkside podcast. A podcast that takes you down the darkest roads the genre has on offer. When he asked me to collaborate on this project I couldn’t resist.Borden aptly titled the episode Modern De Sade. What you’re going to hear is an expertly edited episode, crafted by Mr. Borden, which runs for 90 mins. Much of the episode features a conversation between me and TZ.Tapes from the Darkside Website.Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/obscura-a-true-crime-podcast/exclusive-contentAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

The following episode has several twists and turns. I ask that you hold on tight and not look into the case. You’ll have a better time if you do so. A lot of thought is put into Obscura in terms of keeping coverage objective. With that said the opening part of this episode is sourced directly from the Innocence project of Florida as well as court records. With several sections read verbatim. Alright… let’s get on with it.Join me on Black Label at https://www.patreon.com/obscuracrimepodcastSupport this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/obscura-a-true-crime-podcast/exclusive-contentAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
In high school Nicholas Brutcher was known as a bit of a jock and bully. Large for a teen, you didn’t want to get in his way on the football field. Nicholas played shoulder to shoulder with Aaron Hernandez and Alex Ryng. Aaron Hernandez was linked to three murders before committing suicide. Alex Ryng shot and killed both he and his wife in a 2014 murder suicide. The three players were all destined for violence. Each traveling their own dark road.Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/obscura-a-true-crime-podcast/exclusive-contentAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Heather Claypool is sleeping. It’s early morning hours. A small creak stirs her. Between squinted eyes she scans the side of her bed. It was probably someone downstairs. She lived in an apartment. Heather drifts back to sleep. Another creak. She sits up. All religions are just mental illness.
heartbreaking 😥
12:13 Why are the mentally ill so totally conceited? 'I AM CHRIST'! The hell you are! Sit your goofy ass down and shut your mouth.
That's the type of wailing people around her would want her to stop, and Morgan knows that...
her whining ... God
Honestly, I only listen to Obscura because I’ve ran out of episodes from Casefile. I just can’t stand it when the narrator wax in narrative writing borderline pontificating.
4 and a half minutes in, I wonder how this guy managed to find a woman who was willing to have children with him.
17:00 "And he doesn't belong in this neighborhood, he's Mexican." Hey asshole, I'm from Boynton Beach too and there are plenty of educated, affluent Hispanic families there. We're not all your typical Jewish New York transplants; there are also plenty of Jewbans (Jewish Cubans) both north & south of Palm Beach. Floridiots are just *everywhere* these days. Desantis, Trump and this racist asshole on the last 911 call should all be taken out back and destroyed. Racism is for ignorant thundercunts.
They really are savages, just like in Birth of a Nation.
the government doesn't decide who lives and who dies. A jury of his peers decided and they made the right decision.
Why would anyone have millions of $ in cash at their home?!
not even a podcast anymore. You're just posting a news report
oh jxsxs
good 911 operator for once
Is anyone else hearing the same 2 stories twice?
these 911 operators use zero common sense.
the same episode replays about gators after the credits. no tigers
I like the chat and the personal sharing of thoughts and ideas. thank you.
thank you for explaining 'choice' in consumption, and keeping business as business and allowing your content and talents speak for themselves, not 'drama'. I look forward to hearing you.
keep doing what you're doing
