Off Meta

I'll definitely have to go over this again better in the future, but this episode is, as it says, about learning more efficiently, and also a self-audit as I call myself out on things that I tell others to do all the time but don't do myself. Things I talk about things that it would be helpful to know while approaching a new game, some potential hangups (and some that I myself suffer), and then at the end some honorable mentions of things that I think really help push your game to the next level, but are often overlooked or underappreciated. We go over lots of stuff this episode and some of the stuff I initially wanted to include wound up getting pushed to Patreon. We talk about when learning by fumbling around vs learning in a structured environment is better and what games seem to lend themselves to which style.  We compare physical sports to esports and look at the future of esports with the rise of VR.  We tangent off into some conspiracy theories and talk about the government, some far-off dystopias that you would expect to see in black mirror, and the dangers of giving the government control over a digital currency.  If Elon is actually our future benevolent dictator "big dick daddy" or if he's also someone we need to keep an eye on and some very HIGH level ideas about the matrix or future of consciousness.
