Hey y'all, in this episode I delved a little deeper into a post I saw expressing the importance of defining your friendships. I believe that not only is definition important, but comprehension as well. Define your friendships and be discerning of the company you keep. What are they influencing you to do? Is keeping that person around preventing you from being who God has called you to be? Is this person similar to Lot, causing a veil to be placed over you? Ask yourself these questions and seek God to determine who you should keep around and who needs to go. As a bonus assignment, grab a piece of paper and title it "Friendships." Define what friendships mean to you. Write down the dictionary definition and find scriptures that talk about friendship or show good friendship relationships. Then, write down all the characteristics you want in a friend and strive to embody those traits yourself. Remember, deep calls out to deep, and the type of friend you want to be will attract like-minded individuals once you apply it in your own life. In this episode, we’re discussing the importance of being Holy and set apart. It isn’t every party, event, or function you’re invited to that you should attend. Yes, we’re called to be the light of the world, but how can you be the light when you’re living in darkness? Why would you want to put yourself in compromising situations? Why would you want to toil unnecessarily? This year start to take accountability and tell God "Yes, I desire to go to that event, but if this desire is not of you then take it away from me. Wake up church and stop being so boastful and prideful that you enter environments you are not graced for. Light and darkness do not mix! Yes, Jesus ate with sinners but after encountering him they sinned no more. Can you say the same? Have you ever thought about the meaning of your name? Have you ever searched out to find its meaning or origin? Well come with me as I dive into the importance of names and to seek God concerning them. In this episode we mention the names of God and show instances where God divinely instructed the names of babies. If God is intentional about that and even his name that speaks to his character and who he is then he is intentional about you too. I was believing for a job, but you can replace job with whatever it is you're currently believing in God for. God is not a man that he should lie, so every promise that God has spoken concerning your life has to come to pass.
