On today's practice report we run down the cornerback position as we had a chance to speak with cornerbacks coach Jay Valai this week. How has his room played out during the preseason? Another day at practice and plenty of players stepped into the interview tent. Deion Burks is finally healthy and a full participant in practices. He's shown flashes of explosiveness, but he's yet to live up to the considerable hype he received when he first arrived. Is he ready to make that happen? Another week is off to a fast start as John Mateer met with the media Monday afternoon following the team's morning practice. Mateer talked about the weapons he sees developing on the offensive side of the ball at receiver and running back. We had another open practice viewing Monday morning and the entire crew was out to video, photograph and take in the first practice on the Rugby fields. It was a different type of practice than Friday, but we still had plenty of takeaways, especially from a one-on-one WR/DB session we were able to witness. The linebackers and defensive line were also on full display. Eddie and George wrap up another day of open practice for the media.

Eddie and George are back with yet another practice report. This time we are just coming back from seeing Jadyn Ott on a Sooners practice field for the first time along with many other players. We break it all down from the new faces to the secondary, to the offensive line and more. Check out some of the best action we've seen in a practice in the last few years with tons of inside drill reps with Michael Fasusi looking dominant at times. Ott wasn't the only running back who looked good and we're buying stock in Zion Kearney at wide receiver as well.
