Description

Host Adam Graham is your guide on this journey through the Man of Steel's Golden Ageadventures in Old TIme Radio. This looks like a job for Superman.

From 1940-51,  kids (and more than a few adults) thrilled to The Adventures of Superman which for most of its run featured Bud Collyer in his pioneering performance as Clark Kent and Superman.

Over the course of time, Superman changed and grew. Join him as he faces all-comers from ordinary racketeers, bigots, spies to alien dictators, and even a Kryptonite-powered Nazi. Enjoy the first appearances of Jimmy Olsen and hear Superman and Batman team up long before ever they did in comics.

The Adventures of Superman radio show it's self is wonderful. It so interesting to hear the stories of Superman back then. The radio show it's self is a FIVE STAR Show threw and threw. But the host Adam Graham is ONE STAR all the way. His intros and out-tros do nothing, but accost your ears with a voice and mic skills not made for radio/podcasting. He doesn't bring any insight what so ever. He has no grasp of the history of the show and only a rudimentary knowledge of Superman. His only contribution is to expound and mock it's some what dated plots or sound effects they had at the time. Fast foreword to the actual content (The Adventures of Superman) and skip Adam your ears will thank you.

I started out listening to Adam's Dragnet podcast and then I heard about this one and had to try it out. Needless to say I am now hooked on both podcasts. Keep up the good work Adam and good luck with your new OTR detectives podcast.
