While Halloween has pagan origins, it is now largely a festive fall tradition rather than a celebration of devil worship. Even so, one should be mindful not to go against their conscience or violate God’s standards of modesty, purity, and righteousness. True 'devil worship' is found in a sinful lifestyle. Jesus calls us to a life free from sin, cautioning that not following His path is ultimately choosing to live for the devil, with serious spiritual consequences.Read about this subjectScriptures: I John 3:8; Matthew 7:13
Jesus teaches that our words reveal the state of our hearts—a truth worth considering in light of the noticeable decline in public discourse. Offensive language has become widespread, despite the fact that every word will be judged. The contrast between using harsh language during the week for professional reasons and professing faith on Sunday exposes a moral inconsistency. Scripture calls for speech that reflects the goodness of the heart, and if your words don't align, it’s time for a serious self-examination.Read about this subjectScriptures: Matthew 15:18; Matthew 12:36; James 3:10

Our view of government should align with what God, our Creator, expects. Scripture teaches that the power of government comes from God, as seen in Daniel's acknowledgment that God gives power to whom He chooses and Paul's declaration that "the powers that be are ordained of God" (Romans 13:1). While trusting God to work out what is best, this does not mean disengagement. Christians are encouraged to participate, respect societal order, and strive for good, living peacefully and with integrity. Leaders are to be honored, as they are ultimately appointed by God for the good of society (John 19:11).Read about this subjectScriptures: Romans 13:1; I Timothy 2:2; John 19:11
