Kabelo Motaung better known as Kunutu is a DJ From Soweto who enjoys playing Deephouse, Lounge and Funk. His love for house music started at a very young age and was inspired by Djs in and around South Africa and abroad. He started off as a collector while learning the ropes as DJ, curating various genres in the underground scene since the late 90's and shadowing Djs and producers the likes of Tronics the Chef, Dennis Fererra and and Jimpster just to name a few. Tebello "Terror" Monyane is a South African DJ born and bread in the heart of Soweto int the Gauteng Province. His Love for music started at the tender age of 7 years old back in the late 90's. The love and passion for music escalated from one genre to a more pop-culture like movement that was inspired by a vast unrestricted radio playlist. House music became his first choice of genre when radio had so much influence not only in current affairs but with DJs and devine selectors who's mission was to liberate the masses with new sounds from the global community. Djing was not the initial point, however, the demand for his views on new sounds crossing over to a digital perspective, the message was clear that he needed to lay his hands on the decks and tell a story to the masses. Deep house remains his favourite genre, but also taking into account that other exquisitely layered sounds lik Nu-disco, Neo-Soul, RnB, Tri-pop, Lo-fi, Trance, Drum and Bass are his badass favourites, as well as lately to his versatility as a collector. He's also a host on the legendary Deepfossick Radio with a show Perspective sounds (more details about in on his social media handles). He has coordinated events in collaboration with big music/record labels such as Soul Candy, lauching graduates from the label and music academy. He was also a creative contributor for the Vaal Fabrique Fashion Show as he was an entertainer on the decks, sharing the stage with the likes of CAl deep, Mojack and C-Gar just to mention a few. The highlight of his djing career was last year In June when he featured on one of the biggest global events The Night Embassy, sponsored by Jagermeister curated by KOMBONATION. At this event he had the pleasure of rubbing shoulders with A-lister performers in SA's dance music scene such as DNB GOGO, Focalistic, Muzi, Sizwe and Alkaline. Tlotliso "T El Oh" Nketsi was a born and bred in Sowetan, Protea Glen. He is generally a music lover, but he found his niche in deep house. His love for music was mostly influenced by Glen Lewis' Mid Tempo compilations and his father's love for jazz and fusion. He later incorporated the jazz sound culture with jazzy and soulful house music from artists like Dukesoul, Chymamusique and F.M MUSIC compilations between the years 2013-2015, which had an impact in shaping his sound and musical horizon. However, T El Oh grew more into the deep house space which enabled him to be featured in events like RememberSHE (hosted by Lee Da Cocktail) and played in various places and venues like Kofifi Cafe, Cappello (Newtown), Great Dane (Braamfontein), Chambers on Fox, Flamingo Lifestyle (Kagiso), GOG Gardens, Yummy Thingz eatery, just to mention a few. Svuyile SVU Mphendukana Is a Music lover for Senaone Soweto who curates his style of sound within the Soulful and Deep house genre and has made a name for himself within that space. Kabelo Lekhike Marule was born and raised in Orlando West Soweto, a Dj by started playing on the 6th of April 2019 at a restaurant called “Pizza E Vino” in Johannesburg where he had one of his best experience as a DJ. The people who had an influence in the love I he has for music were his uncles. Back in the late 90s they would play records by the Kwaito, R&B and house music giants the likes of group Dru Hill, Mid-Tempo 45 BPM by Glen Lewis, TKzee as well as a bit of Hip Hop by A tribe called Quest. Lekhike holds a Djing certificate from a music institute called DJ4LIFE, where he learn how to mix Deep House as well as Drum & Bass. He recently got featured on an online radio station called “Vision View Sports Radio” and his mixtape was played by Dj Buhle on her show titled “Bourne Boulevard”. He also featured in places such as The Box Shop, Chilax@TheLake, Pizza E Vino and Metanoia just to name a few. uMngomezulu, formally know as Deepland originally from KZN real name Thulasizwe. He started his music journey in 2009 that was his first year at Soul Candi Institute Of Music and while he was enrolling he was signed under music,myself and I as “Deepland” which is a label under Vinyl Joint. He released an album called “Deep Inside” (https://www.discogs.com/Deepland-Presents-Deep-Inside/release/10687245) and has tracks featured exclusively on compilations at Vinyl Joint. In 2012 he did remixes for labels such as 695 Records while studying towards his Diploma. Than in 2012 he continued at The Academy Of Sound Engineering with his Diploma in Broadcasting Technology. Through out his journey in 2009 he was discovered by Mr Blanket as he was a student that’s when they teamed up on a few projects. In 2017 uMngomezulu and Mr Blanket started a record shop called Vinylifestyle which is one of the most well know record shops in Johannesburg that has held big underground spinners including legends such as DJ MBUSO,JIMPSTER,JAZZMAN,KONSTANTINO,THE RURALS,MARCELO TAVARES. Karabo Mogoai better known as Authentik is a artist from Kagiso, West Rand of Johannesburg. He is known for his dark emotion provoking tunes that are inspired by Atmospheric, Melodic and Dub sounds. He started mixing in 2011 right after high school because his mother wouldn't let him dj. It's only after school when he started juggling school and music.
