On the morning of January 7, 2018, at 9:25 a.m., a chilling call was made to the 911 dispatch in Belgrade, Montana. A distressed woman reported that her neighbor had just come to her home in a panic, explaining she had returned to her residence to discover her two roommates had been shot. One roommate, she believed, was gravely injured but still clinging to life. Terrified, the neighbor had fled the scene and sought refuge, desperately asking for help. Law enforcement officers were immediately dispatched, though they had no idea what they were walking into. The initial report indicated that one female was dead and another, a 30-year-old, was wounded and unconscious. Recognizing this may be a difficult scene, the first responding officer requested backup as he approached the scene. Upon arrival, the officer was met by a visibly shaken woman—the roommate who had gone to her neighbor for help, now standing before him, clearly distraught. She was the third resident of the home, the one who had just witnessed the aftermath of what appeared to be a horrifying crime within her own home. On Saturday, February 20th, 2016, Matt called for an Uber driver around 4:00 in the afternoon in Kalamazoo, Michigan. When the Uber driver arrived at about 4:20 p.m., Matt noticed a dog in the backseat..The Uber driver began driving recklessly, ignoring stop signs and driving into the median. He sped into an oncoming traffic lane, blew through a stop sign, and sideswiped a Ford Taurus. But outwardly, the driver acted like nothing was wrong. Matt was terrified. “Dude, you just hit that car!” he yelled at the driver. But the driver just said, “I didn’t hit anything.” In the back seat, the family dog lunged for the floorboard where she stayed. Matt begged him to stop the car, but the driver wouldn’t. Matt continued to plead with the driver for the next few minutes to let him out. The man said, “Don’t you need a ride to your friend’s house?”  Matt yelled, “Not anymore! Let me out! Let me out!” But still, the driver ignored his pleas. Finally, the driver pulled onto Iroquois Trail and asked, “Which one is your friend’s house?” Matt took that opportunity to jump out of the car and run. A couple was sitting outside having a cigarette break and saw what happened. They immediately called 911. According to the woman, the 911 operator blew her off. By the end of the night, that Uber driver would go on to kill six people and severely injure 2 more. Join Cam and Jen as they discuss "The Kalamazoo Uber Killer: Jason Dalton."A huge thank you to Sleep Creme for sponsoring this episode. On Sunday, August 23, 1992, Tammy Jo Zywicki, a 21-year-old college student, had just dropped off her 19-year-old brother, Daren, at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. The siblings had been traveling from the East Coast, and Tammy was eager to return to college. During their journey, the car, a white 1985 Pontiac T1000, had been experiencing issues, requiring frequent stops to add oil or water. After staying the night, Daren advised Tammy to monitor the vehicle closely on her journey back to college and pull over to a rest area if it acted up, especially given the day's heat. Tammy would never make it back to college.Join Cam and Jen on this episode of Our True Crime Podcast entitled ‘Who Killed Tammy Zywicki?Listener Discretion by @octoberpodVHSMusic by our E.P. @theinkypawprintThis episode is proudly sponsored by sleepcreme.comUse code “OTC PODCAST” (all one word) at checkout to save twenty bucks on the first order!Sources:https://iowacoldcases.org/case-summaries/tammy-zywickihttps://patch.com/illinois/joliet/people-magazine-investigates-seeks-solve-1992-zywicki-murderhttps://www.fbi.gov/wanted/seeking-info/tammy-j.-zywicki/@@download.pdfhttps://www.live5news.com/2022/08/23/who-killed-tammy-zywicki-sc-grads-death-remains-unsolved-30-years-later/https://patch.com/illinois/across-il/tammy-zywicki-slaying-still-unsolved-30-years-laterhttps://www.desmoinesregister.com/story/news/local/2024/03/23/killing-of-grinnell-college-student-tammy-jo-zywicki-remains-unsolved-over-30-years-later-cold-case/72879354007/https://www.cbsnews.com/chicago/news/who-killed-tammy-zywicki/https://www.fourstateshomepage.com/news/national/30-year-cold-case-iowa-college-students-body-found-in-mo/https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-1hkl8CLmFwhttps://www.foxcarolina.com/2022/08/23/who-killed-tammy-zywicki-sc-grads-death-remains-unsolved-30-years-later/https://patch.com/illinois/across-il/tammy-zywicki-slaying-still-unsolved-30-years-laterhttps://m.facebook.com/notes/who-killed-tammy-zywicki/previously-published-names-of-persons-of-interest-in-the-murder-of-tammy-jo-zywi/10156737632236921/https://www.desmoinesregister.com/story/news/crime-and-courts/2020/05/08/illinois-police-clark-perry-baldwin-not-suspect-1992-slaying/3101500001/https://www.wyff4.com/article/memorial-ride-for-tammy-zywicki/41137145https://people.com/crime/tammy-zywicki-murder-case-people-magazine-investigates/
On the afternoon of September 19th, 1978, Carl Bridgewater, 13, hopped on his bike and started his paper route. In fifteen minutes, he arrived at Yew Tree Farmhouse, owned by Mary Poole, 79, and Fred Jones, 75, who were roommates at the farm. Both were elderly and answering the door often took them a long time. So, Carl was instructed to leave the paper in a basket outside. But if the door was open, he was supposed to take the paper inside and deliver it to them directly. However, Mary and Fred were away on this particular day. They’d gone out on a visit.  Carl noticed the door was open, so he stepped inside the house to deliver the paper, as he was supposed to.Around 5:30 p.m., a friend of the cousins stopped by. The door was open; he walked in and found Carl Bridgewater’s dead body on a settee in the sitting room. Was it a robbery gone wrong?Four men were charged with the murder of Carl Bridgewater after police obtained a false confession. Three of the men would serve eighteen years in prison before having their convictions overturned. The fourth unfortunately died in 1981.So, who killed Carl Bridgewater?Join Jen and Cam as they discuss "First Suspect: The Murder of Carl Bridgewater."A huge thank you to Sleep Creme for sponsoring this episode. It is May 24, 2000, and we are going to Tuscarawas County in Ohio to New Philadelphia. It is exactly what you think of when you say small-town America, with lots of farmland and friendly people. Elizabeth Reiser who goes by Liz is a 17-year-old high school student who is looking forward to graduating and finding out all that life has to hold for her. Her good friend 18 year old Brandi Hicks asked Liz to come over and stay the night with her. On this day Brandi who was in the school choir was going to the choir banquet and wanted Liz to go with her. Even though it was a school night, her mother relented and said yes. That evening, the two friends visited a video store in New Philadelphia after the choir banquet to rent some videos for a movie night. When they left the store and started to get into the car, a man approached them. The man claimed he had no means of getting home and asked the girls for a ride, telling them he lived nearby.  The girls hesitated and told them they really needed to get home.  The man then offered them $20 as an incentive. The girls did not want to give this stranger a ride, but he urged them to, and they relented. They were young, naive, and always looked for the best in people. After all, he only needed to go across town and then they could go back and watch the movie they had rented. Neither Brandi nor Liz would ever get to watch that movie. Join Cam and Jen on this episode of Our True Crime Podcast entitled “Awash in Forgiveness: The Murder of Liz Reiser.”Listener Discretion by @octoberpodVHSMusic by our EP @theinkypawprintSpecial thanks to the sponsor of this episode: sleepcreme.com. Order your bottle today at sleepcreme.com. Thank you to Nick for the episode suggestion.Content warning: Child death2017 was a wondrously magical Christmas season. Heaps of heavy white snow had piled on top of Oak Bay on Vancouver Island, and everybody, except maybe the most die-hard winter haters, was excited at the prospect of building snowmen and sledding. On Christmas Day, Sarah awaited the arrival of her daughters, Chloe and Aubrey. They had been with their father, Andrew, the days before the holiday and were due to be home at noon. The set drop-off time came and went, and there was no sign of Andrew, Chloe, and Aubrey. Calls and texts were unanswered. It is just after 10:30 p.m. on June 3, 1999, and we go to 23-year-old Bobby Bornt's home in Perry, Oklahoma. He sleeps on the couch, and his 9-month-old baby boy sleeps in a nearby room.  Suddenly, a loud noise startled him awake. Three men entered the house after kicking in the front door. The three strangers beat Bobby mercilessly, but not all were strangers; Bobby recognized 23-year-old Clayton Locket as the tattoo artist who had recently done some artwork on him. The other two men were 26-year-old Shawn Mathis and Clayton’s 17-year-old cousin Alfonzo Lockett.  Clayton wielded a shotgun, which he used to strike Bobby repeatedly. After the brutal beating, the attackers bound Bobby's hands behind his back with duct tape, gagged him, and left him on the couch. They then proceeded to ransack the house in search of drugs. What started as a “teach him a lesson” would end with a vicious murder on not just this warm June night but yet another murder in 2014 in what some experts would deem the most inhumane. Join Jen and Cam on this episode of ‘Our True Crime Podcast’ entitled “Someone Has To Go: The Murder of Stephanie Neiman.”Listener Discretion by @octoberpodVHSMusic by our executive producer @theinkypawprintSources:https://www.newson6.com/story/25392928/remembering-stephanie-neiman-oklahoma-murder-victims-tragic-storyhttps://www.news9.com/story/25397453/investigator-who-worked-murder-case-remembers-stephanie-neimanhttps://www.dallasnews.com/opinion/2014/05/01/clayton-lockett-s-victim-had-a-name-stephanie-neiman/https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2618893/He-deserved-Friends-victim-weigh-botched-execution-video-surfaces-chilling-1999-taped-confession-Oklahoma-murderer-showed-no-remorse-did.htmlhttps://www.courthousenews.com/mans-death-agony-stops-inmates-execution/https://www.pulitzer.org/files/2015/local-reporting/tulsaworld/01tulsaworld2015.pdfhttp://kfor.com/2014/03/17/mother-says-she-is-ready-for-her-sons-execution-state-still-lacking-two-lethal-injection-drugshttps://web.archive.org/web/20140502032829/http://www.kjrh.com/news/local-news/double-execution-planned-tuesday-night-for-2-oklahoma-inmates-clayton-lockett-and-charles-warnerhttps://www.pulitzer.org/files/2015/local-reporting/tulsaworld/01tulsaworld2015.pdfhttps://archive.today/20140501035701/http://docapp065p.doc.state.ok.us/servlet/page?_pageid=394&_dad=portal30&_schema=PORTAL30&doc_num=206409&offender_book_id=98755https://www.latimes.com/nation/la-na-execution-town-20140506-story.htmlhttps://www.providencejournal.com/story/entertainment/2014/05/04/20140504-mark-patinkin-the-horrendous-crime-behin

Today’s case takes us to Mason City, Iowa. It's July 25, 1993, and like most school-aged kids, summer is the reward after being stuck in a classroom for nine months. Six-year-old Amber Duncan was no different. After an afternoon of playing on a Slip 'n Slide with her best friend, Brittney, Amber headed home around 3 PM, still wet from a day of fun in the water. As the little girl waved goodbye to her best friend, no one could have known it would be the last time she'd be seen. But Amber wasn’t the only one to go missing. What followed were years of agonizing questions and desperate searches. This is one of the most disturbing cases I've ever covered, and the man at the center of it all is a real-life Walter White. On a warm, partly cloudy night in Vidor,(ViE Dur) Texas, a newspaper boy, up early for his route, noticed that a black 1991 Mercury sedan was pitched forward in the ditch just off Interstate 10. The ditch was located between West Bolivar and the freeway access road. He immediately called the police to report the vehicle and that he was pretty sure there was a body in the front seat. When the police arrived on the scene at West Bolivar and I-10, they immediately saw that there was a body of a woman sitting behind the steering wheel of the car. Her body was upright, back against the seat, and her head was turned toward the right, slightly nestled against the headrest. Her feet were pulled back toward the seat, and she wasn’t wearing a seatbelt. When officers called out, “Ma’am?” she did not respond. They checked for a pulse and found that she was dead. The woman’s purse and ID were sitting upright on the car's floorboard, but the police already knew who she was. Kathy Page was the wife of Steve Page, whom Detective Ray Mosely had known for most of his life. This murder inspired the Oscar-winning movie Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, which Starred Frances McDormand, Woody Harrelson, Sam Rockwell, and Peter Dinklage.Join Jen and Cam as they discuss "Behind the Billboards: The Murder of Kathy Page."If you have any information on the murder of Kathy Page, please call 1-800-252-TIPS to contact Texas Crime Stoppers, or you can submit a tip to Crime Stoppers online at crimestoppers.com. Today, we are headed to Riverdale, Georgia, on August 2, 2004, where the Fayetteville Sheriff’s office gets a call from a 16-year-old named Sara Polk, who informs them that there had been a murder or two, to be exact, and proceeds to give them the address of the location where the killing had occurred. Det Bruce Jordan takes the call and arrives on the scene to find two people savagely murdered. The first victim, 74-year-old Carl Collier,  was located in the kitchen, which had blood spatter everywhere. Walking through to discover the next victim, investigators see a small bloody barefoot print on the floor. The print would lead them to the basement stairs. Detectives make their way down the stairs, where they see the second victim, 73-year-old Sarah Collier, at the bottom of the staircase. The scene was bloody and brutal. It was clear that the perpetrator was violent and skilled in murder. Join Cam and Jen on this episode of Our True Crime Podcast entitled  ‘All I Want To Do Is Kill: The Collier Murders'As always our listener discretion by our bestie @octoberpodVHSAll music is by our best executive producer Nico @theinkypawprintSources:https://www.cbsnews.com/news/teens-plead-guilty-to-stabbing/https://law.justia.com/cases/georgia/supreme-court/2021/s21a0871.htmlhttps://www.amazon.com/Want-Kill-Pinnacle-True-Crime/dp/0786018615https://www.crimelibrary.org/notorious_murders/young/teen_killers/index.htmlhttps://www.investigationdiscovery.com/crimefeed/murder/killer-couple-murderous-lesbian-teens-holly-harvey-sandra-ketchumhttps://www.vanceholmes.com/court/trial_harvey.htmlhttps://www.gpb.org/news/2020/03/09/investigation-discovery-channels-twisted-love-investigates-georgia-murdershttps://accesswdun.com/article/2005/4/147573https://archive.thecitizen.com/archive/main/archive-050415/pc-09_mother.htmlhttps://accesswdun.com/article/2004/8/163417https://www.wtoc.com/story/2234202/preliminary-hearing-in-teen-double-murder/https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4193880/How-girl-15-stabbed-grandparents-death-drugs.htmlhttps://www.imdb.com/title/tt1531239/plotsummary/https://www.nydailynews.com/2017/02/04/devil-child-slaughters-her-grandparents-steals-their-car-to-pick-up-more-pot-cocaine/
Greg stared at his phone and wondered why Joanna, his girlfriend and flatmate, wasn’t answering his calls. Greg had spent the weekend with his family in Sheffield, U.K., which was about four hours north of Bristol, where he shared the apartment with Joanna. Maybe she was just busy. It was, after all, the weekend before Christmas.  But still, it wasn’t like her to not reply to him at all. Could her phone be dead? If it was, it had been dead all weekend because she hadn’t responded to his calls or texts since before 8:00 p.m. on Friday.“Joanna?” he called out as he entered. But he got no answer. Her purse was there. The keys were there, and a bottle of cider sat on the counter. It was half full. Where was she? He called her cell phone again, calling her name and looking in the closets. He stopped. Her cell phone was ringing from inside the flat. “Joanna!?” he called out again. Any hope he had that Joanna was somewhere in the apartment was dashed as he realized the phone was ringing inside her coat pocket. The temperatures had not reached above freezing the whole weekend. Now he was really worried; Joanna wouldn't have left without her coat. Now he was really worried. With a sinking feeling in his gut, he called the police.Join Cam and Jen as they discuss "The Only Murderer In The Building: Joanna Yeates."Thank you to our team:Written and researched by Lauretta AllenListener Discretion by Edward October from OctoberpodVHSExecutive Producer Nico Vitesse of The Inky Paw PrintSources:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_of_Joanna_Yeateshttps://www.theguardian.com/uk/2011/oct/28/joanna-yeates-case-vincent-tabakhttps://www.walesonline.co.uk/lifestyle/tv/senseless-murder-joanna-yeates-how-22641648https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/16063153/who-joanna-yeates-how-did-she-die/https://youtu.be/_HMIM8ScKt0si=AHLbnVKa5dHE7befhttps://youtu.be/LXMixkwtjYgsi=ZBgI3VsBsel_Glm4https://youtu.be/K1My3HfOuVo?si=9EzfIq43taP5wpKlhttps://www.newspapers.com/image/754124703/match=1&terms=%22Joanna%20Yeates%22https://www.newspapers.com/image/723901797/match=1&terms=%22Joanna%20Yeates%22https://www.newspapers.com/image/723910638/match=1&terms=%22Joanna%20Yeates%22https://www.newspapers.com/image/754102963/match=1&terms=%22Joanna%20Yeates%22%20murderhttps://www.newspapers.com/image/754182143/match=1&terms=%22Joanna%20Yeates%22%20murderhttps://www.newspapers.com/image/754182311/match=1&terms=%22Joanna%20Yeates%22%20murder
Today's case takes us to Marietta, Georgia. The book centered on this case was one of the first true crime books I had read, and it has always stuck with me. The book Secrets Never Lie: The Death of Sara Tokars- A Southern Tragedy of Money, Murder, and Innocence Betrayed is by R. Robin McDonald. It is November 29, 1992, and Thanksgiving weekend has just ended. 39-year-old Sara has been visiting with her parents and her sisters in Bradenton, Florida, for the holiday weekend, but it was time for her and her two boys, 6-year-old Ricky and 4-year-old Mike load up the Toyota SUV to make the 9-hour trek back home to Marietta Georgia, an affluent suburb of Atlanta. After the three had departed, Sara’s husband Fred called the parent's home to inquire if they were on the road yet. Fred, who had been there earlier, had departed earlier as he had a meeting with a client that he couldn’t miss. Sara’s father, Dr John Ambrusko, had answered the call from Fred and told him they they had just departed. It was almost 10 pm when Sara and the boys pulled into her garage. Sara started to unload the car as one of the boys had fallen asleep in his car seat. As she was unloading, a strange man came out of the darkness. The man, who was carrying a sawed-off shotgun, forced Sara and little Ricky back into the car. What happened next is what nightmares are made of, what mothers fear most, and is proof that true evil exists. Join Jen and Cam on this episode of Our True Crime Podcast entitled “The Big Lie: The Murder of Sara Tokars.”Listener discretion by the fab Edward OctoberpodVHS @octoberpodVHSAll music is by our EP Nico @theinkypawprintSources:Secrets Never Lie: The Death of Sara Tokars- A Southern Tragedy of Money, Murder, and Innocence Betrayed is by R. It was 1996, and all anybody could talk about in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada was the Abbotsford Killer. A few months before, a sadistic, barbaric individual had beaten two girls with a baseball bat, raped one, and thrown her body in the Vedder River. The killer taunted the police and terrorized an entire community of 108,000 people by promising that there would be more bodies. And he was still at large. People, especially women, were terrified to go anywhere. What would make somebody do something like that? Former Dauphin County Chief Detective Thomas Brennan’s phone rings between 3 am and 4 am from a responding officer requesting assistance on a crime scene. When the detective arrives, he notices a car pulled close to a ditch. Brennen, who received training at the FBI Behavioral Science Unit during his tenure with the state police, knew immediately what he was dealing with when he arrived at the Conrail crime scene. After Brennan asks the officer for details, the officer explains that a Conrail train security guard had stumbled onto a man attacking a woman. The man was startled and he ran off. Thankfully the victim was injured but alive so he called for police and waited with her until help arrived.  Detective Brennan noted that the vehicle’s trunk was open and inside was what many would call a “kit” such as rope, and duct tape, as in things to help someone kill or at least bind another person. Outside the car on the ground were plastic mats, seemingly to cover the ground inside the ditch. It was now clear to Brennan that this man had planned to kill his victim, put her in that ditch, and drive away. What was also clear to the detective was that this was not this man’s first time killing someone, he had done it before and he knew what he was doing. Join Jen and Cam of Our True Crime Podcast as we discuss ‘Steelton Serial Killer: Joe Miller.’As always, the listener discretion is by our bestie Edward @octoberpodVHSJust like our music is by our bestie Nico @theinkypawprintThis episode is sponsored by the amazing sleepcreme.comIf you don’t experience better sleep, they will refund your money. In the summer of 1991, Krystal Naab was sixteen years old. She lived in a mobile home in Ramsey, Illinois, with her mother and two siblings. She spent time with her boyfriend, whom she had plans to marry, and hung out with her friends. Everyone described Krystal as a genuinely sweet person.July 23rd was shaping up to be a scorcher, and by 7:30 a.m., it was already warm and humid. Since one of Krystal's chores was to mow the lawn, her brother Curtis woke her up before he left for work. He reminded her that it would be hot and that she needed to cut the grass while it was still cool outside. Curtis then headed out the door to do landscaping work for his uncle, unaware of the horror he would later return to.When Curtis arrived home at 4 p.m., he found Kyrstal lying face-down on the floor in a pool of blood just inside the entrance to the trailer. She had been stabbed 81 times with a pair of scissors the family kept in a china cabinet in the living room.A small, white truck was seen by neighbors in Krystal's driveway that day from 10 a.m. to3 p.m., so police thought she must have known her killer. When they asked Curtis if he knew anyone with that type of truck, he immediately came up with a name.Thank you to YA-MAN USA for sponsoring this week's episode. She had a good heart, and she was loved by everybody who knew her. Leanne was a ‘go-getter,’ and her friends say she’d always be the one encouraging them to get up and do fun things instead of sitting around bored. She could always find the positive in bad situations, and she was always giggling. Leanne was an only child, so she made lots of friends throughout her life who she remained close to and treated like family. When Leanne met a man who Leanne fell in love with, her friends and family were excited for her as she would finally get what she had always wanted: a loving, happy family.  That excitement would soon turn into concern. At 3:07 am on the 29th of August 2021, Leanne’s husband made a panicked call to 911, stating that his wife had vomited and was not breathing. On August 7, 1995, in Aroma Park, Illinois, 9-year-old Christopher Meyer approached his mom, Mika Moulton, asking for permission to visit the Aroma Park boat launch by the Kankakee River. Christopher, who spent his summers with his mother but resided with his father, Jim Meyer, in Walla Walla, Washington, during the school year, was eager to explore. Mika permitted him to go but set a curfew, instructing him to return home by 5 pm.  When 5 o'clock came and went, Mika began to worry. She went out to search for Christopher but was unsuccessful so she returned home to phone the police and report Christopher missing.  At the time, no one knew it but Christopher was not this person’s first victim. Join Jen and Cam of Our True Crime Podcast on this episode entitled “The Murders of Tara Sue Huffman and Christopher Meyer.”Listener Discretion by @octoberpodVHSAll music is by our EP @theinkypawprintOneSkin sponsors this episode. In April 2001, Jerry Heimann's son, Greg, had come to Washington State to visit his father. When his father didn't pick him up from the airport, he grew concerned. When he arrived at his father's home, and there was no answer, he broke into the house. Jerry wasn't there, and neither were most of Jerry's belongings.  As he made his way into the dining room, he found an 89-year-old grandmother, Evelyn, and an Alzheimer's patient slumped in her wheelchair. She had been left alone, starving. Greg called 911.When police asked the neighbors if they had seen Jerry, they said they hadn’t seen anyone at the residence after the live-in housekeeper and elder helper, Barbara Opel, had backed a U-Haul into Jerry’s driveway, packed it full of things from Jerry’s house, and left. Soon, police knocked on Barbara Opel's hotel room door, asking her, her children, and their friends to come down to the station to answer some questions about the whereabouts of her employer, 64-year-old Jerry Heimann. Barbara spun a story of how Jerry was dying of terminal prostate cancer, and he was just finished with this world. He’d given her all his earthly possessions, and she had no idea where he was. Nobody else talked to the police. They did not betray Barbara. But eleven-year-old Derek did. When the police asked him if he knew where Jerry was, he simply said, “Yes. He’s dead.”Join Cam and Jen as they discuss. In the early hours of May 14, 1983, two California Highway Patrol officers pulled over a suspected drunk driver on the San Diego Freeway in Mission Viejo, California. Instead of staying in his vehicle, the driver jumped out, pouring the contents of a beer bottle onto the road as he exited. His disheveled appearance caught the officers' attention as he approached their patrol car. The officers asked for the man’s driver’s license, and he readily admitted that he had been drinking beer, but he claimed to be sober. Sergeant Michael Howard approached the vehicle and noticed a man slumped in the passenger's seat, partially obscured by a jacket, with empty beer bottles strewn around his feet. A folding knife was visible on the driver's seat. Howard tapped on the window, but there was no response. The man was unconscious and had no shoes on. His pants were unzipped, with his genitals hanging out of his pants. The officer attempted to find a pulse, but there was none. A closer look at the man indicated that the man had been strangled. This standard DUI arrest just changed to murder, but this is far from the only murder this man would commit. Join Jen and Cam of ‘Our True Crime Podcast’ as we discuss “The Scorecard Killer: Randy Kraft.”Listener discretion is by the talented @octoberpodVHSAll music is by our executive producer @theinkypawprintSources:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angel_of_Darkness_(book)https://www.investigationdiscovery.com/crimefeed/serial-killer/the-scorecard-killer-southern-california-man-may-have-murdered-as-many-as-67-victimshttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Randy_Kraft#Conviction_and_incarcerationhttps://randykraft.com/the-victims/https://latimes.newspapers.com/article/the-los-angeles-times-randy-kraft/138310135/?locale=en-UShttps://skdb.fandom.com/wiki/KRAFT_Randy_Stevenhttps://inmagazine.ca/2022/03/queer-crime-was-serial-killer-randy-kraft-wrongly-convicted/https://www.reddit.com/r/serialkillers/comments/15wby08/all_randy_krafts_victims_suspected_connected_and/https://www.ranker.com/list/randy-kraft-facts/christinatedescohttp://maamodt.asp.radford.edu/Psyc%20405/serial%20killers/Kraft,%20Randy%20_spring%202007_.pdfhttps://www.foxnews.com/us/iowa-teen-identified-victim-scorecard-killer-randy-kraft-nearly-50-yearshttps://caselaw.findlaw.com/court/ca-supreme-court/1402694.htmlhttps://www.allgaylong.com/blog/randy-kraft-the-sadistic-scorecard-killer/https://bonlinetr.unionjill.org/content?c=scorecard+killer&id=12https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2023-11-29/scorecard-killer-victim-identified-michael-ray-schlicht-orange-county-randy-krafthttps://longbeachize.com/articles/the-disturbing-creepy-history-of-long-beachs-scorecard-killer-randy-kraft/https://www.ocregister.com/2023/11/28/after-49-years-orange-county-investigators-id-a-presumed-victim-of-serial-killer-randy-kraft/https://www.investigationdiscovery.com/crimefeed/serial-killer/the-scorecard-killer-southern-california-man-may-have-murdered-as-many-as-67-victimshttps://randykraft.com/

Hello, I'm from Russia and you did a really good job telling this story! The boy, who made up the nickname Fisher, loved to play chess and Fisher was the last name of world known chess player. The nickname just stuck with the serial killer. And it's true, that Soviet Union didn't want people to know that there were serial killers in the country, so a lot of information started to reveal quite recently.

in the uk sex offenders ,do not have to come tell you ,you can request under Sarah's law if you believe your child is in contact with someone who may be a pedophile ,and police will check their background and will tell you confidentially if that person has a history of sexual offences .

I hate it when the "undeveloped brain" excuse is used for murderers who happen to be young. There are some truly evil young people in this world. I do not believe this guy should have been released, the role of his mom not withstanding. He is no Billy Flynn.

Um… MyPatriotSupply.com?? America is facing more dangers than ever? Things are falling apart on a DAILY BASIS?? Food shortages? This ad is… troubling, misleading and irresponsible. While I’m sure MyPatriotSupply.com is a business that exists, I also believe that this particular advertisement— from the content to the speaker’s voice— was designed to advance the belief that America faces existential peril under a Democratic administration; more to the point, I believe it‘a a dog whistle meant for people who believe the 2020 election was stolen. This is as much a political ad as many overt campaign ads, and if you as podcasters have enough integrity to “keep politics out of it” (as people with these particular beliefs always demand of their entertainment media), you’ll remove these ads. Even if you lack integrity, the ad itself is unsettling, creepy and way more bothersome than the oft-bemoaned “Best Fiends” commercials.
