Hey Everyone! I’m back after taking a break to try and keep my sanity in check and I’m happy to report that I only lose my train of thought 2 or 3 times. Yay for me! This episode, I share a story about my daughter’s newest, most terrifying stage of development as she fully steps into her “I NOT NEED HELP” era, then I fully embrace my Hacky 90’s Sitcom Mom alter ego and complain about packing lunches. Not the most gripping podcast experience, but hopefully it helps you less alone as you move through your day. Thanks for being here! You’re doing great xo
Hi! Recorded this while hopped up on lip plumper and low-grade mania, so get be prepared for pressured speech and a quick, unhinged tangent about my history of drug use. Oopsie! I am somehow able to course correct and go over my "Smart Choices" list of toddler friendly curse word alternatives PLUS I tell a crazy story about getting the best compliment of my life from Bestey *Super* Johnson! Hope things are good with you! Thanks for being here :)

Hiiii! It's been a few weeks, but I'm back and as spaced out as ever. This week, I talk about how an accidental finger bite (with no harm or damage done) threw me into a crazy downward spiral and finally admit that I have a problem with foul language so severe that I am using the Ms Rachel method to help put my potty mouth to rest. Hope everything is good with you! Talk soon xx Wendi

Hi! trying to keep the ball rolling on this show and finding it very difficult to gain any momentum on any activity that is not directly related to Momming, wifeing (wifing??) or housekeeping. Jumping on a plane now, will be back next week. Thanks for being here :) Talk soon xx

Today we’re talking about different ways to respond to and get through the extreme toddler act outs that can sometimes make it seem like our kid is straight up possessed. I also share a mini epiphany I had when my daughter rediscover a super annoying toy in the hopes that it might help other parents not get stuck in a chaotic feedback loop. Thanks for being here!

Hey Everyone! I somehow stumbled my through 20 minutes of talking and I’m hopeful that at least 20% of what I say here is coherent and maybe even a little bit helpful. Will try to get a better camera angle next time. Whatever. You gotta start somewhere and with new things that are outside of our comfort zone, that somewhere is usually at the bottom, doing the bare minimum to get by, and that’s totally fine and normal and the only way to build strength in that new activity and area of our brains, bodies and lives. Let this bad episode inspire you to try something new or get back into something you once loved. It’s not gonna be perfect outta the gate, but an imperfect start is better than never starting in the first place. Rediscover your goals and passions and give yourself 10 minutes a day to indulge in those feel-good activities and dose your ego with a healthy shot of dopamine for the day.
Impromptu recording session using my the microphone in my AirPods and kind of whispering most of the time because my family is asleep and our house is unbelievably echoey. Full video on YouTube. I think the audio there is better, but you will have to stare at my bloodshot eyes and the swollen, puffy wrinkle bags beneath them, so maybe the crackly phone audio is the way to go. Pretend it’s a really, really, really long voicemail. Thanks for listening xx
