Description

Joe Exotic loves his animals, his husbands and his animals. He’s a self-described “gay, gun-carrying redneck with a mullet” and he’s on a mission to resurrect sabre-tooth tigers by breeding tigers and lions together. Throughout his career, he’s made some enemies. His biggest is big cat rescuer Carole Baskin. Their feud gets messy, vicious, and pushes them both to their limits. From Wondery, the network behind “Dirty John” and “Doctor Death”, the hit series Over My Dead Body returns with Season Two: ‘Joe Exotic.’ Hosted by Robert Moor.

How is Charlie not charged yet? There is so much circumstancial evidence, that can literally not be proven otherwise. No matter how "creative" deffense attorneys can get, they could never explain away some of the stuff.

Has that dark & quircky clichéd soundtrack, similar to making of a murderer.

What happened to Danny is truly unfortunate and the murder was just criminal and wrong. However, let's not forget what Danny did. Being a intellectual professionally, he was likely emotionally abusive to Wendy as she claimed during her interview. Remember how he was constantly harassing Wendy with attorney papers he personally drafted (on one occasion, because the kids and her went to Disney World). Trust me, I used to be in a relationship with someone who sounds like Danny and it sucked; I just wanted him to stop. I guess what I'm trying to say is, besides the murder, nothing is so black-and-white in a romantic relationship.

I wasnt clear on why they didnt charge Charlie or the dad?!?! Someone please enlighten me. I got that they can hire high powered attorneys and the other side was intimidated by that...but how the hell can they try the foot soldiers and not attempt to bring down the head?! To me this is not justice. The foot soldiers, yeah, its awful, but its not the root...

We recognize that wealthy people can get away with violating the laws, but we look down and place blame on people with less financial means.

Blinded By Sight If it is all a deception, how can you see the truth? It all begins with One 'Lie'. Just one. Lies are not just Words. They are People. Who "Patholigically" Lie.

My concern is that this religion is enslaving women. This particular more traditional is keeping women in fear and at the command of men. I understand religion is an important and cultural connection to a more mythical time. The issue I've with this religion is it remains the same even after the worldhas changed. I think this service that was offered will continued to be offered by someone else because anytime a person is at the mercy of another in desperation some terrible things will happen. So, what can be done? I suggest we lessen the power Rabbis have by promoting more progressive ones, educating fundamentalists why this system is harmful, and educating women that if you do get a divorce it doesn't mean you'll go too hell.

It's pretty telling that the estranged brother even thinks they are capable of planning this. I'm very convinced that this whole family was involved. I guess money allows you to do anything you want, including murder. 😡😡

So the rich probably will get away with a murder. Whats new. Its a shame that prestige can buy silence. And in a family things are talked about. A hit doesn’t occur without a cause.

truthfully nobody in this story is innocent except for maybe the wives who seeked out this rabbi's assistance to divorce from their husbands who was just not having it. I mean think about it from the White House inspector if they were desperate enough to go seek out this man for his services they didn't get to that point by themselves had their husband simply did the right thing from the very beginning none of that would have been a thing and if we want to care the grass this Rabbi as anything anti-hero would probably be the most accurate description because although he did shity things and a few other more question with things can't really argue too much with his results. cuz she sit down ask all the women that he managed to help to them they probably see him as a hero he helped them when no one else would or could.

I completely agree with the last commenter completely. I can't sympathize for people who are abustive and then misuse their religion for another way to victimize their victims. I almost feel like the prodfather was a great antihero. I'm not condoning his actions.... but i didn't see anyone else helping these women.
