This was my first time listening to y'all and it was a wonderful experience. I was laughing so hard throughout the episode that my coworkers asked me what I was listening to and I happily recommended your podcast to them. About the Team Jacob and Team Edward camps, it's my belief that this dynamic really became emphasized because of the movies. When I read the books, I did not see Jacob as a truly viable option for Bella because she was so engulfed in Edward. In my opinion, the movie and their casting choices presented a more pronounced love triangle than what I found in the books, which gave more weight to the possibility of Bella choosing Jacob over Edward. This created/drew harder lines for who the fans shipped. I loved this episode and am excited to check out some more from your podcast!

Stopped at 4:32. Damn. It's the nasally voice, really. Sounds just like every other person who goes out of their way to speak that way. Who on Earth thinks to themselves, "Hey, I really like the idea of sounding like a total snob"? It's just not for me.

I had to stop listening, too much off topic banter.

I love watching the first Overdue episodes, they have a lot of charm. The new ones are great too, I'm not that "you've changed" kind of fan

Overdue is without a doubt my favorite podcast, Andrew and Craig are hilarious and I just love them (and their dad puns)

Sorry but am not a fan. too much chatter having really nothing to do with book reviews. The hosts try to be clever and spend more time with innocuous commentary then serious and meaningful discussion.

I really love these guys! They are hilarious, and give a great spin on the books I have not read, giving a great description on what I wanted to know! Been binge listening for three days and it has been great!

I would be too boujjie. I'm not sure if I spelt that right but I would definitely get tired of walking around and get myself a really nice bike.

You guys are so funny! And you're commentary is so clever, so smart. I'm into whatever you're reading. And, whatever I'm reading (total book nerd). Also, totally into hilarious dude who commented above me. I thought this channel would be creepy and scare me. But so far, I'm just lmao. Love it!

Love this!! My new favorite weekly podcast. I saved the 50 shades episode for those crappy days at work when I just need to laugh at something. I've recommended this to all the book lovers I know.

This podcast is so full of wit, charm, and insight that it's become a weekly must-listen for me. I mean, the guys did 'The Elements of Style' for crying out loud! Great work Craig and Andrew!

Finally, a way to ignore my colleagues and fuel my incessant desire to be part of conversations about books I don't have the time or attention span to actually read. I wasn't optimistic, because two dudes talking about books isn't usually a thing that interests anyone but those dudes with beards who home brew their own beer or whatever, but they're genuinely funny and the podcast gives me a real feel for themes, characterization, and plot without taking itself too seriously. Two thumbs up from my boss as well, because Overdue has made me way more productive at work. Nice.
