Miranda's upbringing instilled in her the values of hard work and the importance of recognizing the individuals behind that hard work.  Having given her all to the community, Miranda believes there is still more she can offer. Drawing from her experiences as a former Softball player at The University of Sioux Falls, she understands that true change requires a collective effort, starting with one person leading by example. This also means holding core values that leaders are often instilled with during their upbringing including honesty, respect, kindness, responsibility, perseverance, empathy, and integrity. Keyen Lage is a former NFL athlete who has not only transformed his own life but now helps other change their lives at an extremely high level.  Raised in Sioux Falls, SD, Keyen gained recognition as the face of the high school football community at Washington High School. His remarkable football skills and work ethic led him to the collegiate level at The University of South Dakota, where he continued to excel. Eventually, Keyen landed the opportunity to play for the Kansas City Chiefs but while performing a routine physical before officially signing with the team, this dream came to a screeching halt due to an injury received college.  However, Keyen’s journey didn’t stop there. He felt a calling to have a greater impact on people’s lives. This led him to become a success coach, specializing in helping professional athletes, CEOs, social media influencers, and serial entrepreneurs overcome mental, emotional, and physical barriers. This weeks special guest is Kathy Caldwell! She has an impressive background as a previous presiding judge on the South Dakota second judicial court. Kathy’s story is one of strategy, determination, and relentless efforts in achieving her goals of becoming a lawyer & Judge to change the system from within.Her journey towards becoming a lawyer/Judge included serving in the Peace Corps and traveling to Ethiopia. Along the way, Kathy encountered a rare and dangerous experience of being bitten by a green mamba snake, but miraculously survived the snake bite.Despite facing obstacles, Kathy was determined to make a difference in the world to become one of the first female judges. She defied expectations that judges had to be men and Republicans, two things she was not. This did not deter her from pursuing her dreams.Among her many accomplishments, Kathy became the second woman to sit on the Supreme Court. One of her most significant contributions was approving the program “Drug Court,” which aimed to provide treatment to substance-abusing offenders while minimizing the use of incarceration.Kathy serves as a role model to many women and exemplifies the belief that anything is achievable with hard work. Natacha Artz was born and raised in Pierre, South Dakota, Natacha has faced numerous challenges and obstacles throughout her life.
