Good morning everyone! In today's episode of the Overtime Sports Podcast Nathan talks about MLB's COVID-19 Issue and other news this weekend including a trade between the San Francisco Giants and New York Mrts, then the scores and recent standings in Major League Baseball (1:24). The National Basketball Association has a huge offensive onslaught over the weekend, with the games all recapped (11:14). The NFL has two starting quarterbacks diagnosed with COVID-19, more players opt out of the 2020 season, Antonio Brown is suspended for 8 games without pay, ESPN's Monday Night Football commentators have been announced, and Dwayne Johnson's group has bought the XFL ahead for the 2020 season (17:11). The National Hockey League playoffs have begun with the games be recapped on the episode (20:04). Major League soccer has wrapped up their quarterfinals games from this weekend, a preview of the upcoming semifinal games, and a new signing for Atlanta United (24:50). The Big Ten postpones training camps, the Pac-12 released its 2020 schedule, SEC players are worried about the upcoming season, and two tragic passing in the college football world (26:42). Iowa, Michigan State, and Baylor Universities have players withdraw from the 2020 NBA Draft to stay at their schools (29:28). Games upcoming from today (Monday, August 3rd) are announced (30:51). Good morning everyone! In today's podcast episode Nathan recaps the return to basketball and the upcoming games in Orlando (1:14). More COVID-19 cases around Major League suspending more games, seven-inning doubleheaders are given a go, Manfred can punish sign stealers, Mike Trout put on paternity list, and finally from the MLB, the scores and stats from Thursday's games (3:37).  The NFL has big names such as Mason Crosby go down on the COVID-19 list and LeSean McCoy joins Tom Brady and Mike Evans in Tampa (10:44). Scores from the Quarterfinal games in the MLS is Back Tournament and upcoming dates to look forward to out of Orlando (12:35). In the NHL, Nathan recaps the final exhibition games and gives you a preview to the Stanley Cup Qualifiers beginning on Saturday, August 1st (13:13). And finally to wrap up the episode, Nathan gave you all of the dates and times for games to look forward to this weekend around the MLB, NBA, NHL, and MLS.
