Dan Blank worked as a director, writer and animator in Hollywood for many years, but realised that audio drama offers opportunities for storytelling not available in film. The result is Carrier, an edge-of-the-seat immersive drama which uses the technique of binaural audio with chilling effect. Dan talks through the history of this technique and the evolution of Carrier, from an idea for a road-trip thriller, through to its final execution as a hit podcast.
