P.H.A.T.

Let's be honest, being a young adult can suck. And having body dysmorphia or an eating disorder during this transformative time can make it suck even more. Between maintaining relationships, navigating friendships, exploring sexuality, and simply getting through day to day classes, your view on food, exercise, and priorities affect ALL of it. This is a podcast that cuts through all of the bullsh!t. I'm not afraid to ask the questions you might not want to and TO the people you might be nervous to talk about it with. On top of how your relationship with your body affects every aspect of your life, I'll walk you through facts that debunk everything you thought your eating disorder taught you (or even what your favorite influencer taught you). It's time to face the truth about your relationship with your body: it's pretty, hot, and taboo.

Episode 1… Reborn

Today I'm meeting with Dr. Enyeart-Smith, a professor at James Madison University who specializes in Health Behavior Change. We talk a LOT about not only the freshman 15 but behaviors and mindsets that lead to it as well. Not only that, but we also talk about unhealthy habits that happen as a result of the fear of freshman 15.
