Min Jung Kim opened up about what diversity at the museum means to her. “Recently,” she told us, “the Museum hosted a naturalization ceremony and invited 30 individuals from 30 different countries to come to the museum and to welcome them in becoming new American Citizens with all the rights and freedoms that being a citizen provides.” We can all take pride that SLAM’s global collections have representation from all of their country's cultures, heritages, and histories. Each received family memberships as a way of continuing to connect with our diverse community and thrive.
