The season has gone so fast, and now the PWHL Playoffs are ready to begin! From our satellite office in Toronto, we take a look at the matchups after the choice was made by PWHL Toronto to play Minnesota in the semi-finals. Both series are going to be highly contested. There are only a handful of games left for each team in the PWHL and the playoff push is down to the wire. Toronto has clinched a spot, and it looks like Boston and Ottawa will be fighting to get in. What about Minnesota, who have lost two games in a row? Is Montreal a possibility to finish first, and when will the Gold Plan kick in? (Looking at you, New York!) As the trade deadline approached, we got two large deals, both involving Ottawa as they try to grab that playoff spot that they're chasing. Boston made a great deal and got a fan favourite out of Ottawa, while Montreal filled a need by trading a forward for a defender. Injury woes continue to plague a couple of teams, with Marie-Philip Poulin remaining out, and Loren Gabel unfortunately hurt in the PWHL Takeover game in Detroit.
