Author and shaman, Barbara Snow, returns to visit with the hosts about Peruvian shamanism. The first half of November, Barbara went on a Pilgrimage from Lake Titicaca to the Sacred Valley of Peru, following the cultural evolution of the Incan culture. She plans to bring us a fascinating conversation about that journey upon this visit.
Barbara is a nonfiction and fiction author as well as an Andean shaman.
(This show was rescheduled from Oct. 15th to accommodate her pilgrimage and allow for our listeners to have the best experience possible.)
Open song: Sacred Fire by Denean from her album Fire PRayer; closing song: Goddess of Letting Go by Mama Gina from her album Goddess Kiss'd.
Friend and priestess, Judith Laxer returns to the show to talk about eighteen years with Gaia's Temple. Based in the Pacific Northwest, Gaia's Temple has been serving the community for nearly two decades. Judith was a performer before she answered the calling of the Goddess to serve as a priestess to her community. That calling moved her cross country to where she resides now.
Find Gaia's Temple on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Gaias-Temple-120431614651566/
Pagan-Musings is thrilled to have Judith on the show again to talk about her journey and what a little (okay, a lot) of dedication, blood, sweat, and tears can do to build a community. She is also one of the contributors to The Pagan Leadership Anthology, a book that the hosts of PMPChannel are both in.
RevKess and KaliSara are joined by authors Lianne Willowmoon and Phillip Shadowdragon, the masterminds behind a unique group write project called Remnants of the Everleigh. Remnants releases Dec. 9, 2018, from Hydra Productions. Combining the idea of roleplaying games with writing, Lianne and her coauthor Phillip have been working with several authors to create this unique steampunk murder mystery. Each main character in the story is written by a different author. Some of them may be joining the conversation at random intervals.
RevKess is one of the contributing authors to the project. This will be Lianne's second visit Pagan-Musings and Phillip's first time on the show.
Due to unforseen circumstances, Andy Peloquin had to cancel his visit this week. He and his family have recently relocated to Canada and have not gotten totally settled in. RevKess and KaliSara decided to share his first visit with you again.
On August 21, 2016, Andy visited for the first time to talk about what then called the Last Busellari series. He has since rebranded and relaunched that project in combination with the Queen of Thieves books. Following are updated links for Andy and his books. We hope that you enjoy the show! We look forward to having Andy on live again soon.

Plagiarism and internet piracy are big in the Pagan blogosphere right now. Heather Greene recently wrote an editorial for The Wild Hunt that addresses the issue. RevKess recently discovered a group on Facebook that shares links to a file share system that contains multiple copyrighted materials. KaliSara and RevKess are both published authors and are very concerned about this trend on the internet. Guest Boudica Foster, also an author, returns to Pagan-Musings to discuss the issues surrounding palgiarism and internet piracy. Boudica is one of the admins for a Facebook group that was established to combat plagiarism and piracy. She will discuss copyright and other legalese that are important to the topic.
RevKess and KaliSara talk often about magic in the every day. Tonight they go into more detail on how you can turn that magic to your advantage. Call it magic, call it determination, call it whatever you will. From daily routines (rituals) to going out on a limb and trying something new, magic is a powerful force for all of us. The hosts will use personal anecdotes to convey what they mean by magic in the every day and how they have used it to further their own lives.
KaliSara and RevKess play it by ear tonight. Life keeps throwing little (and big) surprises at people and your hosts are not immune to that. Listen in to find out what is going on with them, hear some fab music, and whatever topics of conversation come up. There'll be talk of books, news, and all sorts of things witchy and Pagan-y.
What do you want to hear KaliSara and RevKess talk about in future episode? Who would like them to ask on as a guest? Email them at paganmusings@gmail.com.

Trans Exclusionary (Erasing) Radical Feminists are in the Pagan news again. Max Dashu, Z Budapest, and Ruth Barrett, to name but a few, have reared their heads and made things uncomfortable in the Pagan world once again. But this is a good thing. Why? It is causing the Pagan world to talk (again) about these issues. Listen in to hear what KaliSara and RevKess have to say on this issue and more.
If time allows, they may address the issue of Pagan Standard Time and how it is a detriment to the Pagan world as well.
Kalisara is once more joined by Diane Morrison, aka Sable Aradia, as we take on how to create spells for creative Pagans. We will be talking about what creative Pagans need to succeed, and how that translates into a spell format.

KaliSara and RevKess are joined this evening by activist, author, and West Coast Pagan of note, T Thorn Coyle.
T. Thorn Coyle is author of The Witches of Portland, a nine book paranormal fantasy series, The Panther Chronicles, an alt-history urban fantasy series, the novel Like Water, and two short story collections. She has also written multiple non-fiction books including Sigil Magic for Writers, Artists & Other Creatives, Kissing the Limitless, and Evolutionary Witchcraft. Thorn’s work appears in many anthologies, magazines, and collections.
Thorn has taught magical practice in nine countries, on four continents, and in twenty-five states. Her other occupations have been numerous.
An interloper to the Pacific Northwest, Thorn joyfully stalks city streets, writes in cafes, and talks to crows, squirrels, and trees. Sometimes she gets arrested.
Here is a way that you can get involved in humanitarian activism. https://www.facebook.com/events/1052871671538141/
Kalisara and Diane Morrison will be talking about how to work with empathy and its consequences in bad situations. Empathy is a skill - a blessing or a curse - that many Pagans and Witches possess. Some of those with empathy have learned how to handle things better than others. Trauma, drama, and other circumstances can aggravate one's ability to handle their empathetic impressions.
Diane Morrison is a return guest to the podcast and one that KaliSara and RevKess both enjoy having on the show!

Arizona native and author Ashleen O'Gaea sits down with KaliSara and RevKess to talk about raising children in the Craft. She is the author of several books and novels that address children in the modern Pagan world. Ashleen is the author of Family Wicca and Raising Witches among other nonfiction and fiction.
From her Amazon author page: Sometimes I have to remind myself that I'm not quite an Arizona native; I was born in the Pacific Northwest, but can't imagine calling anywhere but Tucson home.
I've written quite a few novels, ranging from contemporary to fantasy, and including a set of stories for children and a chapter book for middle-schoolers. My non-fiction work ranges from a variety of books about Wicca - because I'm a fully ordained Wiccan priestess - to one about West Highland White Terriers! And of course I've always got more stories and books in the pipeline.
I'm a member of the Gecko Gals Ink (GeckoGalsInk.blogspot.com), a group of five Tucson authors who write in a wide range of genres, meet the public at book events all over town, offer seminars for authors at all levels of expertise and aspiration, and sponsor the All-Zona Book Fest every autumn.
I'm on the board of the Mother Earth Ministries-ATC, a Tucson-based Neo-Pagan prison ministry (www.MotherEarthMinistries.org). I'm also a co-founder of the Tucson Area Wiccan-Pagan Network (www.TAWN.org).
In our spare time (!) 'dancer and I love to entertain; we like to camp and travel, too, especially to Celtic Festivals, where we often hold a booth for our Scottish clan (MacCallum-Malcolm), and sometimes get to show off our West Highland White Terriers, Wee Dram (Ch Headsup Highland Adventure) and Isla, whose formal name is Islay Single Malt.
Speaking of single malt, I take mine neat.
Internet "celebrity" Patti Wigington joins in the conversation to talk all about witchcraft, Paganism, and so much more. Patti has been a known name on the internt for years, formerly writing on About.com. She has been traveling the country talking about witchcraft, Paganism, Wicca, and much more.
A Mom, an author, a teacher, and an all around busy woman, Patti has squeezed PMPChannel into her busy schedule.

RevKess is at work tonight, and Kalisara... Well, four days ago, there was a minor financial disaster. Three days ago, there was a deadline. Two days ago, there was a formatting issue. One day ago, Stormie was nearly lost to a muddy sinkhole (which took his pants and shoes as a sacrifice). And a few hours ago, the family vehicle, the Catbus, was totaled (no injuries, but only cuz Stormie owes Kalisara BIGTIME now).
With just a few stressors, Kalisara has decided it is safer for all to just listen to some good music therapy. Enjoy!

RevKess plays a selection of new age and Pagan music to honor our fallen heroes. Today is Memorial Day in the United States. A day set aside by the government to honor our fallen heroes. Usually this means service men and women who have died in action. For some it is also a time to honor those within their family who have passed away, for whatever reason. RevKess's family used to visit the family cemetery plots and place wreathes and flowers on the graves of everyone who had gone before, regardless of their military status. Over the years this has changed. His mother still does what she can, but being in her 70's she has slowed down a little.
Tonight, RevKess would like to honor both those who have fallen in battle and those who have been heroes of one sort or another to many of us in the Pagan world. Expect to hear a selection of music from the somber to the funny. Some of the music may be from those very heroes.
Author Diane Morrison, aka Sable Aradia, returns to the show to talk fiction and nonfiction. She's been hard at work creating new stories in her Wyrd West Chronicles, and now she's come full circle to creating new material for the Pagan world. Between writing steampunk (cattlepunk), podcasting, and working on her newest Pagan focused projects, Diane has been working with other authors to produce some of the best sci-fi/fantasy out there from the Indie World of Books. Tune in and learn more about her latest projects, both fiction and nonfiction!
On the Horizon anthology. The Toy Soldier Saga. Her music. Sit for a Spell on YouTube. Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers of America on YouTube.
KaliSara and RevKess sit down to talk Witchcraft, religion, and whatever else comes to mind in this casual edition of Pagan-Musings. They invite you to sit back, relax, and enjoy the conversation and a cup of your favorite brew along with a snack of your choice. Where they will go with the conversation is anyone's guess. Will they meander around from topic to topic or will they be in a serious discussion of some of the hottest issues in the Pagan world today? You will have to tune in to find out.
Florida based Pagan singer songwriter, Alexian, joins RevKess and KaliSara to talk about his music and life in the Florida Pagan community. It truly is good to be a witch in this century. Thanks to one of RevKess's longtime friends, Alexian agreed to be on the show at the last minute. Blessings on Steve, who also lives in Florida.
Lord Alexian is a 3rd Degree Alexandrian Initiate, and Founder and High Priest of the Alexandrian Coven “Twisted Oak” in Orlando, Florida (www.TwistedOakCoven.com), from which also sprang the daughter coven “Thunder Oak”. He is also a Neophyte Initiate & student of the Golden Dawn system of Magick.
Alexian received his Bachelor’s Degree of Music from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, after studying three majors with his principle instrument being Voice and his secondary being Piano/Synthesizers. His first Pagan solo recording, “Alexian: The Mother, The Magick, The Music” was released in 1992, and is well known for its hits “It’s Cool to be a Witch”, “Bast”, and “Listen to the Wind”. He is now working on his next solo recording, “Circle of Power”, which is a Pagan Techno Dance Album.
Alexian is co-owner of Earth Tones Studios, a Pagan/Wiccan based Recording Label which is the Largest Online Pagan/Wiccan Music Store (www.paganmusic.com) in the world.
KaliSara goes solo to interview Bran Cerddorion about his newest full album release, Bardic Dharma. Bran is a KC area based Bardic recording artists. His first album, Four Branches, hit the airwaves in the Midwest to rave reviews. Each subsequent album has sparked more interest in his musical talents. With his latest, Bardic Dharma, he combines his Bardic and Pagan leanings with his study of the Buddha and the teachings of Buddhism. Bardic Dharma was released in late March. He will be traveling the Midwest Pagan and Earth Spiritual festival circuit this summer sharing his unique take on the Bardic tradition. Bardic Dharma is Bran's fourth full length album. You can find Bran and his music on Bandcamp.

Have tried multiple episodes to listen to this podcast. CANNOT deal with it at all as they aren't planned, blabber on and disinterested in being focused on the quality for listeners.
keep hoping for good information but it's blah and these people didn't know about the actual effects of the moon on the earth scientifically... oh man
love the cast
damn this is boring
Junk
This was painful to listen to. Why is the woman so uninterested in the show.....? Long silences, and one word answers.... So awkward.
I really want to listen, but the audio quality is fairly poor.
