evil spirits are not there to play practical jokes the only thing they do is lie, kill and destroy people's lives, to name them much less categorize them as friendly is plain stupid.
How does one know if aliens are evil ? simple its called alien " abduction" not alien " invitation " or " visitation " these beings usually need their abductees to feel comfortable and relaxed as possible, theres a reason why the girlfriend's friend was behaving that way, he was in a state of trauma, these beings have no respect for human life, whatever they did to him, it was evil. my advice stay away from them.

Ive never visited mount shasta, but the fact that people go missing in the area, obviously is a sign of a malicious presence, there is no such thing as ascended masters, Jesus Christ himself said you can only serve but one master, a man cannot serve two. I find it bizzarre that 2000 years later after he ascended to the kingdom of God, everyone seems to think that hes a part of a higher consciousness dimension with a group of hippy highly evolve beings, that seem to promote crystals, meditation, numerology and vibrations, wake up, most people have been trying to be as happy as they use to be when they were teenagers or kids, but they seem to forget that since they attempted to reach out to false idols like the buda or so called higher consciousness, they unfortunately reached out to unclean spirits.
I say this out of more than 10 years of experience in dealing with unclean spirits, IF you are a victim of a haunting, or if a demon has been trying to contact you, DO NOT search for a witch doctor, DO NOT seek out witchcraft, budism or voodoo for help, that will only make things worst.
The missionary man sounds like an unclean spirit following him due to a sin he comited, the inherited jacket sounds to me like his father in a dream was not really his father, evil. Spirits are known to usurp loved ones or other people in dreams. And the guy who wanted to do an evp in the woods, that is a stupid thing to do, if you speak to unclean spirit in order to get a response its really not all that diferent from ouija boards. The only dieference is, the unclean spirit will response via audio recording instead of a board.
