This episode we discuss one of the biggest challenges we have seen in toddlerhood - the hitting phase. We discuss ways we are thinking about gentle parenting during this phase and more than anything we admit that we (at times) feel like we have no answers. On the journey to becoming parents, there are endless questions to discuss: what kind of birth do we want? what will we name our baby? where will baby sleep? who will stay home with the baby and who will go back to work? In addition to those common ones, this episode we offer an additional 10 existential questions to ask yourself and your partner in preparation to becoming parents. These questions are not meant to help people decide if they want to have children — rather an opportunity to engage with each other on a deeper level about the changes that come once a baby is part of your family. Most of these questions are ones that we, ourselves, discussed in our journey. The TV show we discuss is the docu-series Stolen Youth: Inside the Cult at Sarah Lawrence on Hulu. **This story is very intense but we tried to be very intentional and careful about what we included and decided to leave out.** We mostly talk about the chronology of events that transpired and express how mind boggling this situation was! 

We discuss the emotions that came up for us during the postpartum period - it’s a vulnerable one. We go into the challenges in trying to rely on your village when processing these emotions and this is not even getting into things like postpartum depression and anxiety. For our show we discuss Love is Blind, both the after the alter release and the season as a whole

We discuss what healing looking like in the postpartum period - specifically physical healing bc emotional healing is its own saga. And the TV show is "The Traitors." Remember there will be a spoiler alert so don’t worry if you haven’t seen it, we will tell you when to stop listening
