I find it odd that nothing was mentioned about the Mariposa county sheriff's departments involvement in the investigation. The cedar lodge and Yosemite are in Mariposa county.

this is one of the better podcast...i really enjoy listening to it.....its unbelievable what people are capable of. imagine going to prison .....omg like idk how many people have been locked up but I think if that happens you'd get around 1 million per year. That should give you some idea how bad it is there. You are constantly being watched but at the same time u have to watch your back.things happen there and no one gets locked up what's the point you can only be locked up you can't be more locked up..killers there kill for something to do. sometimes they get caught but most times nothing comes of it. It's not hard to understand why nobody saw anything. being labeled a rat is very bad. and short of PC you aren't safe anywhere in the prison system.

As a fan of True Crime I tried to give this a shot. The the stories are good. However the host is very unprofessional and her choice of words detracts from the story. there are a lot of dates and small nuances but it gets so convoluted that it that she is just reading various news articles rather than telling a story. I really don't think I can get behind this one.

I keep getting flash backs from a book I read called “last season” similar to this story but about a ranger named Randy Morgenson. Where they did eventually find he died but all the things the park did, the search and rescue teams, the way the national park handles the spouses of missing rangers and some politics about it. I agree with several people I don’t find this to be a great podcast, although it is a fantastic idea for one. I think it needs to have more meat, maybe a little more like “wondry”

I'm confused why this episode was on here. it was a murder in the city, not a "park predator". It was very surface level and not very engaging.

I grew up in arizona and had never heard of this case until now! if we're ever going to know what happened and bring this man home, his story needs to be common knowledge to those in the best position to help!

Not good. The narrator is talking way too fast and just basically reads information that was/is available in newspapers. Zero context or layering of the story, nothing that went deeper from an investigative standpoint. Also half the sentences seem to end in a question?? Poor effort.

I love audio chuck podcasts, but I can't stand the host's monotonous voice. Never thought a true crime pod cast could bore me and put me to sleep.
