Haha I love your comments on Dr. Wayne’s “scientific” claims. “Oh no that’s just not true” 😂

This series is fascinating for people interested in many aspects. 1) what Lyme is and how to avoid, diagnosis, and treat it. 2) medical mysteries. 3) community-engaged science or public engagement with science (especially episode 7). 4) laboratory medicine, especially episode 4 - i think this would be great for any number of students in a variety of medical fields. 5) people interested in great contemporary science 6) anyone interested in great stories!

This podcast series is awesome!! Thoroughly enjoyed it and learned a great deal. Topic is close to me as I grew up on the North Fork of Long Island so very similar to Nantucket. I knew people who were very sick in 1970s that had Lyme but we only know that now.

OMG! I feel exactly the same way Todd does! I was diagnosed with late stage 3 yrs after contacting it and the residual effects have changed my personality in slight ways (short term memory loss, stuttering, outrageous anxiety). Gosh, it was so nice to hear someone else experience these things...
