This is one of our most requested cases. We've been nervous to do it because it's really brutal, but it's a shocking story that deserves to be told. In 1994, 27-year-old Alison Botha was returning home when a man wielding a knife kidnapped her. She didn't know at the time, but the man was Frans Du Toit and he was going to pick up his satanic counterpart, Theuns Kruger. These two monsters go on to brutally attack Alison & leave her for dead. When they're finally caught, they're shocked when they hear the charges. Between 2001 - 2008, a series of murders & attacks on young women horrified Los Angeles, California. The crimes were meticulously planned but ultimately he messes with the wrong girl and after a huge struggle, leaves DNA behind. That DNA links him to a 1993 cold case that should've landed him in jail before he could kill again. When he finally goes to trial, the prosecutor has a very surprising star witness. Stick around to the end because there are some new (and damning) allegations. This is the story of Tricia Pacaccio, Ashley Ellerin, Maria Bruno, and Michelle Murphy. On December 26th, 2014 an employee at the DoubleTree Hotel in Portland walked into the stairwell and found the dead body of a young woman hidden behind the door. She had no ID with her and no one could remember seeing anyone that fit her description. Hours later another employee remembered that someone called 3 times the day before worried about their friend staying in room 715. It's very rare for detectives to identify who the killer is before the victim but that's what happened here and it led to one hell of a hunt ...and a tragic secret Produced by Jacob Hollabaugh Join our Patreon for bonus episodes, check out our website for merch, and follow us on TikTok, Instagram & YouTube

This one had me riled up. When 31-year-old Patricia Jeschke didn't show up for work one day, her mother went to her house and was met with the most gruesome crime scene cops have ever seen.  Patricia was a straight-laced woman who spent most of her spare time at church and didn't have an enemy in the world, so everyone was on edge. Police turn their attention to one woman who had no ties to the victim -- yet she spent nearly half a century in prison.  Why were police so determined to put her away? Well the batsh*t reason was revealed in July 2024 and it's shocking, despicable and not their first time. This is the story of Sandra Hemme, America’s longest wrongfully convicted female prisoner, who was finally released last month. In 2006, Elizabeth Shoaf got off her school bus in Lugoff, South Carolina and vanished. A huge search ensued. When hours turned to days, confidence in the outcome started diminishing... until a week later when her mom got a chilling text from a number she didn't recognize. When US Marshals traced the phone number, they grew even more concerned and what they learned over the next 2 days is insane. This story will have you on the edge of their seat.
