ABRI - the housing association -  are building over 100 homes in Petersfield and more in other areas like Horndean.  They say the housing crisis means they need to build, using 'brownfield sites' like at the top of Lavant Street, by the railway station. After a delay, they now have planning permission for Drum Court, on the Spain, to be rebuilt providing 21 flats, with work to start in Spring 2026. 54 homes, mainly houses, are being built on The Causeway, and the 34 units for social rent  - the lowest rate - on Lavant street will be ready by spring 2027. ABRI's Director of Land and Planning, Sam Stone, speaks to Mike Waddington about their progress and current plans.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

You can bring along your containers, weigh up as much as you need, and stock up on dried storage cupboard staples such as, pasta, grains and pulses, baking goods, cereals, herbs and spices. Not to mention eco, child and skin friendly toiletries and sustainable cleaning goods, without using more plastic.  Mark Simpson visited Michelle on a Friday morning recently, in her Liphook location near the Millennium Hall, but she also visits Liss, Grayswood, Grayshott and Durleighmarsh Farm on other days.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
