If you’ve been doing everything “by the book” and your life still isn’t where you want it to be, you need to tune in to this week’s Phil in the Blanks podcast. Dr. Phil teaches you how the world really works -- not how you wish it worked, not how it should work -- but how it really works. Become empowered to be a leader in your life and protect yourself and those you love.
“Life is a game, and you will either be a player or be the one played,” explains Dr. Phil. “Yesterday’s rules and expectations about relationships, emotions, and interacting just simply don’t apply anymore, not like they used to … and those who figure that out and adapt to the current world will have an incredible edge.”

Every year, over 500,000 Americans file for bankruptcy due to medical bills. Many of these arise from auto accidents that occur at alarming rates, oftentimes leaving the victim with a brain or spinal cord injury. These types of injuries can be long-lasting and require treatment for decades, and most affordable insurance policies do not cover the overwhelming expenses that accompany traumatic brain and spinal injuries.
John Prosser II, president of the NeuroTrauma Association, joins Dr. Phil on his Phil in the Blanks podcast to give you information to prepare yourself in case you or someone you love suffers this type of accident. Learn how to get medical coverage and where to get the support and treatment you may need to heal.
“We’re trying to get millions of drivers all over the country to look at this through the lens of ‘Oh, my God. What if this happens to me?’” Prosser says.

In part 2 of the Phil in the Blanks podcast about the dangers of social media content, Dr. Phil continues his discussion with Imran Ahmed, Founder and CEO of the Center for Countering Digital Hate. They discuss social media companies not taking accountability for third-party content, building awareness of this gross neglect, and more.
Social media is full of wonderful opportunities for people to connect. It is also filled with people who push identity-based hate, extremism, disinformation, and conspiracy theories. Imran Ahmed joins Dr. Phil on his Phil in the Blanks podcast to discuss psychological malignancies on social media – and how to protect our children against them.
ABOUT: The Center for Countering Digital Hate counters hate and disinformation, by disrupting the online architecture enabling its rapid worldwide growth. Digital technology has changed the way we communicate, build and maintain relationships, set social standards, and negotiate and assert our society’s values. Digital spaces, however, are often safe for bad actors spreading hate and disinformation, turning them into a hostile environment for others. Over time these bad actors, advocating diverse causes – from misogyny and racism to denial of science and conspiracy theories – have mastered using these platforms to cause considerable real-world harm.

what? no comments yet? Well this episode is very informative. thanks Dr. Phil
you dog father
stupid head
You’re way off Dr. Phil on your white privilege comment. You are using a straw man argument that is not backed up with statistical proof. It’s all anecdotal. You should have a conversation with someone like Larry Elder to flush out that strawman argument and understand it better.
Yes but what about the large amount of black people who use that race card for stupid stuff. Like recently I heard a black girl on a bike whowas riding her bike going against traffic. The policeman stopped her and told her that was dangerous. When asked hfor her information, she refused. She used the black card and said the only reason why she was stopped was because she was black. STUPID. This is the issue that needs to be addressed. IT IS NOT RACISM, it is people using their race to get out of situations. The are bringing this "stigma" of racism on themselves everytime they use that race card.
Lost me when he started explaining how white men are getting oppressed by females and the children they fathered.....had to shut it off. sorry Dr P.

Dixon said he plans to both continue drawing and help other prisoners. "If you don't have any money in this system, it's hard to get justice because the system is not equipped or designed to give a poor person a fair trial," he noted. "So we have a lot of work ahead of us." While Dixon was cleared of the murder, Judge Susan Eagan did not clear a criminal possession of a weapon charge from his record. That conviction, without the erroneous murder charge, would have come with a sentence of five to 15 years. click here to find out more https://thefridaymail.com/

I am paying a lot of attention to this last post and I've been able to identify that my husband has a lot of this characteristics you mention. He also suffers from general anxiety disorder. we've been married for eleven years and have a child. physical aggression has never been present but a lot of verbal aggression and a lot of manipulation from his side. he had a complicated childhood, he's very insecure as a man, he has said a few times that I won't be able to survive without him, etc. I have been very clear about divorce and is something I intend to do. How can I manage separation with someone like this? I don't like conflict of any kind and I want to make it safe not only for me but most importantly for my child.
You are most welcome! I appreciate the distilled wisdom, knowledge, and life lessons you are sharing with us in easily understood language. You echo a great deal of wisdom my parents have shared with me as well as help me try to understand why people do what they do. Thank you.
Sounds like my mother is a covert narcissist. It has been one trauma after the next since my first memories. I was a huge disappointment according to her. I caused her hell for 25 years she says. So I believe therapy has backfired for her. I thought yes..finally but instead it seemed to be more about finding deeper levels of deception to back her behavior. I get it when you mentioned that in your podcast. She was basically asking permission to dump me. She did learn how to do that from her therapist in a way where she wouldn't look bad to other people. Now I have Malignant metastatic melanoma that went to my brain. I had a 3 inch tumor last year and needed emergency surgery. I had many other small brain tumors gamma knifed and Yervoy/Obdivo immunotherapy. I wasn't told so at the time but I was not expected to live. My mom did not ask try to contact me and ask how I was even though she knew through my children. So, I wrote her and her response was this: How sad. No one should have to outlive one's own children. As if I'm putting her through more grief. 2 weeks ago I had another Brain MRI and Pet scan and there are no new signs of disease in my body. My doctors call it a miracle. The tumors they treated with gamma knife have shrunk or nearly disappeared. I was prepared to die and now this. Now it seems I have more time. I am not cured but apparently will have more time. My therapist and I are working on how to make the best of that time. It's good to hear that there really is nothing I can do about this apparent Covert Narcissism and I did go through a surprising "I want my mommy thing" throughout this past year. Your podcast on Covert Narcissism that my therapist recommended was very helpful. Please share more. Thank you, Kim
