Pilgrim Reflections

In this part 2, we look at God’s vision for those who thirst. Not everyone understands and acknowledges their thirst but for those who do, God has a vision for you. That’s what today’s devotion was about. Blessings.

We begin a short series called, “Responding to Thirst." Everyone thirsts for some things and even Jesus Himself, the very Son of God, cried out in thirst. The real issue is not whether we thirst or not. The real issue is how do we respond when we are thirsty. Everyone thirsts. I repeat: If the Son of God could thirst, and could cry out from His thirst, then we need to learn from Him. We must not be silent when thirst comes upon us. But we need God to guide us into how we can satisfy our thirst. Today’s devotion explains a bit more how to do this. Listen and pray along.

We are starting a devotional series called “God uses ordinary people.” There is so much hopelessness and discouragement around. Satan is oppressing and suffocating our generation. But how will things turn around? It will not be by some specialized group of supersonic people. It will be by the Great God working His greatness through ordinary people. I pray this series will motivate you to see yourself as part of this movement of “ordinary people” that God is raising to bring hope and freedom to our world. Amen. Listen and be encouraged.
