Remember the one about the West African country doing bits in and amongst the big African nations? Not many people are all that familiar with Burkina Faso, nor its football heritage, but aside from being a land that breeds terrific Traoré's, Bax has more to tell about this nation who shares borders with African powerhouses such as Togo, Ghana and the Ivory Coast. The big question we want to explore is whether or not we're likely to see a Burkinabè team at an upcoming World Cup.

I think we can all agree that by now football has definitely had its day, right? Well for Andrew Ward, Writer of 'Football's Strangest Matches', it certainly hadn't had its day when he went to Prenton Park in 1972 to watch his beloved Tranmere Rovers. Yes, it was cold. Yes, it was dull... but 16 minutes of end-to-end chaos in a match against Walsall was enough for Wardy to fall in love with the game.
