Loved this!
Thank you.
Enjoyed this series! π
what could she possibly hate about cats?!
I really enjoyed this episode . I learned unique points on improving breeding stock without inbreeding . Also really enjoyed the story she shared towards the end of the episode on why HOA is so important to her , it brought tears to my eyes . I'd actually never heard the bible quote that she shared ( I forgot her name π€) it really spoke to me . Thank you for this wonderful episode and the many others.
I have been following Melissa for years, reading her blog and buying her books. I started listening to her podcast last year when my car radio died - why did I wait so long?! I went back and listened to all the episodes. I appreciate her knowledge, her authenticity and her humor - and how her faith is evident in what she does, without being preachy. Now I am kind of a podcast junkie (thanks, Melissa), but hers is still my favorite.
this is an all time favorite of mine. it's like talking to my homesteading sister in the kitchen while I'm working up my recipies.
the best way to stay away from hormones is to just not drink milk, lol. and Melissa, I adore your podcast but I'd love to see your source on soy because as one of millions of non dairy consumers, that is just not true. For you perhaps but that's quite a generalization and one that seems more in line with dairy industry propaganda than anything scientific I have ever read.
I love this podcast! So informative for our small but growing slowly homestead. I'm especially interested in medicinal herbs but grow a little bit of everything. I have the first two books also! Just wanted to tell you to keep up the good work!
I have a family of 4 but plan on splitting the meat with my mother and father in law. Any suggestions on the amount I should buy?
the audio only comes in one speaker (and it isn't my earbuds; all other downloads work fine)
@pioneeringtoday I would love to know more about your solutions for not having out buildings. We get pretty strong wind and this has been a struggle for us. Love the cast, Thanks!
so if it is organic does that mean it is GMO free???
I'm confused why there are now 2 podcasts and why it shows notifications for new episodes but doesn't show the episodes themselves.
weird- it keeps showing a notification that a new episode is up in my library yet there hasn't been one since November 8.
enjoying all episodes, short and long.
Thanks for the info about spraying apple and peach trees. Doing this as soon as my trees are ready.
I would love to hear how you treated a snake bite naturally!
I have fermented tomatoes. I left them out on the counter, as well. they were ready to eat in days. I think they tasted pickled. especially when i used the green ones. I had to harveste whatever fruits and veggies I could, whenever I could, from the garden. Otherwise, the squirrels would get them first. so, l would continially add my tomatoes to the jar as I harvested them, red or green. they would all ferment with the rest of the items the jar in no time. I enjoy the green ones the best. they are more crisp.
