A tired James joins Suj to discuss the weekend football in Gameweek 16 which ended with Tottenham scoring five in the first half at St Mary's and Cole Palmer blanking in Chelsea's victory against Brentford. But Palmer wasn't the only big name FPL player to underwhelm this weekend where having the right differentials will have made the difference for many.
There's coverage of all 9 games as Arsenal and Liverpool both dropped points at home and City blew a lead late to lose the Manchester Derby.
And there are new FPL assets emerging to consider including the weekend's highest scorer Ismaila Sarr and a returning Diogo Jota, James has made an early transfer to bin the suspended Ryan Ait-Nouri, and there's a new FPL Chip to play with soon too!

Suj and James review the weekend of Gameweek 15 that saw us a game down following the postponement of The Merseyside Derby and the Podcast includes details of when the game may be rearranged to.
Unfortunately for those still on the Erling Haaland path, Mo Salah owners appear to have won again, with many moving the captaincy from Salah to Cole Palmer who returned with an 18 pointer in Chelsea's 4-3 victory at White Hart Lane which increased the pressure on Ange Postecoglu. Is James ready to call time on the Aussie's reign!?
Plus, analysis of all the games, info on those walking the suspension tightrope, defenders are on agenda but there aren't many that convince, should Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa really be sold after returning well against Newcastle, Gameweek 16 should look good on paper and there are well wishes for Michail Antonio.

Clayton joins James for a review of GW14 in a week where Arsenal won from corners and Tottenham lost from one, but that's not the only reason Tottenham lost, and James is in a mood this morning following the dismal showing at Bournemouth.
He did at least have some reason to cheer via FPL means as Alexander Isak was held and returned well in Newcastle's thrilling draw against Liverpool, but Mo Salah dominated again with another monster haul. The Egyptian King is now up to a barely believable 151 FPL Points for the season.
Clayton's gameweek meanwhile was somewhat saved by an Arsenal player and The Gunners ran out winners against a Manchester United team, who impressed with their structure, if not their threat.
All the games from Wednesday to Thursday covered, including Chelsea's demolition of Southampton, Aston Villa and Manchester City getting back to winning ways; whilst there's debate on FPL transfers as James seeks a new defender, there's a solution offered for Bryan Mbeumo owners, if those who have prersisted with Erling Haaland have to call it quits and is there enough reason to take Salah on with the captaincy this week?
...Tottenham might have offered one... but not for the right reasons.

Suj and James review all the Gameweek 13 games as the pain continued for many who are still on Erling Haaland as the FPL midfield trio of Mohamed Salah, Bukayo Saka and Cole Palmer scored 45 points between them. Can Haaland owners really sell now? Or does it feel like they've got to?
City were beaten again at Liverpool and comfortably so, whilst Arsenal and Chelsea both won comfortably, as did Ruben Amorim's Manchester United who go to The Emirates next.
All the key FPL topics covered including whether it's time to dump Bryan Mbeumo, whether West Ham can be invested in, if Alexander Isak owners will move on to Nicolas Jackson, enablers in defence and midfield are covered and there's debate about captaincy for GW14 with Palmer likely to be favoured by many against a depleted Southampton, but could he be rested!?
And Suj has gone early with two moves ahead of Gameweek 14, and it may be the same two template players that James targets, with one of them a certainty for purchase.

Suj and James review another dramatic weekend of Premier League football and all the important FPL discussions as several popular assets delivered the goods again with Mo Salah, Bukayo Saka, Matheus Cunha and Joao Pedro all returning well.
But there will be some who struggled and the swing against for Erling Haaland owners is a tough one to take. Is it time to call it quits on FPL's highest priced player?
Haaland's latest blank came in an astonishing result at The Etihad as Tottenham won 4-0, much to James' delight; and there were also comfortable victories for Arsenal and Wolves whilst Liverpool made hard work of beating Southampton and we saw Ruben Amorim's debut as Manchester United manager end in a draw at Ipswich.
Plus, James has gone early on his GW13 transfer, but it means a hit could follow...

Suj and James discuss a miserable weekend, no, laugh at a miserable weekend of red arrows, failed Fantasy returns, and dismal home showing for the clubs they support! Yeah it's that kind of vibe.
All the games reviewed as usual which included those disappointing days for West Ham and Tottenham and another disappointing day for vulnerable Manchester City, who were beaten by a Brighton side who now very much appeal for Fantasy managers and so to will Chelsea and Arsenal assets following their draw at Stamford Bridge. Both have very positive long-term fixtures.
But the player the lads will probably want to but most is Alexander Isak, there's interest too in double ups on teams defensively, a Trent replacement may be needed, Mo Salah was on it again and provided another double point return ahead of facing the league's bottom side in Gameweek 12.

Clayton joins James to discuss the weekend fixtures from Gameweek 10 with Mo Salah captainers doing well, but many other popular assets misfired, which included the majority of James' team, infact all of James' team misfired, but it was somewhat saved from being the Gameweek from hell by Dominic Solanke!
And the Tottenham forward was also a surprise selection as part of Clayton's Wildcard which has performed well.
On the Pod, discussion on all the games includes why James was confident Bournemouth could upset Manchester City, Newcastle's tactical structure that nullified Arsenal, Chelsea intrigued but failed to see off Ruud Van Nistelrooy's 'good lads' of Manchester United and fears for Gary O'Neil at Wolves only intensified after a 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace.
And FOMO might have hit James for the first time this season...

Suj and James discuss all the weekend GW9 games as James hit gold with Bryan Mbeumo captaincy to take on Erling Haaland who despite some very big chances only scored once against Southampton - and now with Cole Palmer, Bukayo Saka and Mohamed Salah all scoring yesterday, some may be getting twitchy as to the value of the £15.4m forward.
But Suj isn't pulling the plug just yet and despite some concern on social media didn't miss the deadline in a week where he also scored well.
Lots of FPL assets are on radar with many enabling forwards appealing and there are concerns for some popular players like Gabriel and Dwight McNeil who may have picked up injuries.
But the Podcast begins with an extended intro and the news that filtered through just after recording had concluded of Manchester United's decision to sack their manager! And thus, Gameweek NINE was to prove to be the the end for Erik TEN Hag

Suj and James review all the key talking points from the Gameweek 8 weekend and for many it was an FPL weekend to forget with many popular assets blanking, but there were success stories to be found with the likes of Mo Salah, Heung-Min Son (perhaps controversially) and Ollie Watkins returning well.
Son, was gambled on by a number of FPL managers just before deadline with concern surrounding Bukayo Saka, who wouldn't feature in The Gunners first defeat of the season at Bournemouth. Did those managers have inside information on Saka's absence!?
James is holding on to a place just inside the top 10k, but his biggest joy of the weekend was seeing success for Tottenham in the Planet FPL Derby, which features heavily in a Gameweek Review that also covers how Chelsea impressed despite defeat at Liverpool.
And it was a third blank in a row for Erling Haaland at Wolves, so surely he can't blank again with whipping boys Southampton up next. Or could he!? Deploying the triple captaincy is discussed and James has some new players on radar for transfers, which even includes one from Manchester United.

Suj and James look ahead to the forthcoming four weeks before the final Interlull in 2024, a period where for many popular FPL assets the fixtures look rough, primarily because of fixtures against each other. For example Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool all play each other over the next four.
There's discussion on flipping assets with bad fixtures, such as Bukayo Saka for someone with a great run like Phil Foden, how often would feel comfortable to play the likes of Morgan Rogers or Antoine Semenyo over this period.
There's discussion on which enablers are fancied from those with positive fixtures, Brennan Johnson's appeal and can James finally decided it's time for Erling Haaland?
Plus, there's actually some good listener questions covered.

James is just outside the top 5k after another storming weekend on his no Haaland strategy, but can it continue - and does James even want to continue without him - with Wolves and Southampton next for the big Norweigian!?
On the Gameweek 7 Review Suj and Jaes discuss all the weekend games, which included Bukayo Saka's haul for Arsenal against Southampton, Haaland's blank against a Fulham side who will feel they merited something from The Etihad and one or two games that didn't thrill the neutral.
One that thrill however was Brighton's come from behind victory against Tottenham, which dented James' good mood. There's an attempted explainer of what went wrong and the Podcast may even feature a bit of Erik Ten Hag, praise...?
Plus, many FPL managers ate looking at players they may need to sacrifice to afford others, fixtures are about to get tough for many of the best teams and budget to mid price FPL forwards becomes a feature, an d the one James has his eye on most may well surprise.

Suj and James discuss the 9 games from the Premier League weekend and there was some wild swings for Fantasy managers, and particularly many on Wildcard which included Suj, and for many it ended in disappointment. There's discussion on thinking longer-term for Wildcard and that decisions aren't made based on just one Gameweek.
But for James, who Wildcarded back in week 3, it was a stormer and Cole Palmer's monster 25 point haul helped him rise inside the nose bleed territory of the top 50k. But what should Palmer owners who have gone without do now? Does structure and upcoming fixtures necessitate continuing to go without?
All the games covered as usual which include the North London clubs posting some silly underlying numbers, Liverpool's win that took them top, Villa being held by Ipswich and it's getting tiring talking about the shortcomings of Manchester United!

Suj has seen enough and despite a strong start to his FPL season the Wildcard is now active! On the review of all the Gameweek 5 fixtures there is a theme of looking for players on Wildcard as James tries to lead Suj into what he would do if in the same position. And for James it was another positive week against his no Haaland and no Salah strategy, but an early move has been made for GW6 and it's unlikely to surprise.
Arsenal assets with be in high demand; so is double defensive the way to go after another resolute showing in earning a point in a dramatic encounter at Manchester City? That game features in the tactical insight into the games where James even found himself impressed by Manchester United; as he was by an improved Tottenham but it was a bad day at the office for West Ham as they were beaten comfortably by Chelsea.
Enabling options for selection also feature prominently and James has two midfielders on radar who didn't return at the weekend...

On the Gameweek 5 Review Suj and James discuss all the games from the weekend and it was a particularly painful one for James following defeat in the North London Derby. Discussion on Arsenal's victory and how they overcame the absence of Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard.
But it wasn't all bad news for James in FPL as Ollie Watkins matched another Erling Haaland haul and it was another successful weekend for Suj who included Gabriel in his starting eleven.
Plus, for many Wildcarders there may be regret as Liverpool assets flopped in a surprise defeat to Nottingham Forest and a theme of this week's review is a hunt for decent forward options.

Suj and James discuss the fallout from all the Gameweek 3 games as Erling Haaland made it back-to-back hat-tricks for another seventeen points and Mo Salah match that total as Liverpool cruised to victory at Old Trafford. It mean owning both with the captaincy on either returned 51 points, and despite James' Wildcarding he's still sitting there with neither. So how bad did it turn out!?
All the games and key talking points discussed with a heavy focus on the FPL assets on mind both for the shorter term and thinking further ahead; plus James is pleased despite Tottenham's defeat at Newcastle, and for Manchester United there's a feeling that things won't change until there is change.

An Oasis of joy for Erling Haaland Captainers and Triple Captainers as the big man took home the match ball on Saturday and he wasn't the only hat-trick scorer this weekend as Noni Madueke also hit a treble - all assisted by cold Cole Palmer - as The Blues scored six at Wolves.
Suj and James review all the weekend games from Gameweek 2 which saw a continuation of clean sheets which even remarkably featured Tottenham and West Ham keeping the door locked. But it was cleans for Arsenal and Liverpool that helped a Haaland-less James survive the week.
There's insight into some of the weekend tactics including Tottenham's very offensive setup, Newcastle concern and why Kevin De Bruyne needs close monitoring.
And now James in on Wildcard, with thoughts given on the players under consideration, while Suj has some issues to deal with, such as Christopher Nkunku and Lewis Hall, but he might not panic. Or he might. Some Might Say.

The Planet FPL Gameweek Review returns as Suj and James discuss the nind games played so far in Gameweek 1 and it was a great weekend for many who attacked the opening weekend fixtures as several top players returned well and clean sheets were on the rise with Arsenal, Liverpool, the Manchester clubs and Newcastle all managing to keep out their opponents.
There's tactical insight to the games and as usual a slant towards FPL thinking with much of the advice given that managers should hold their nerve on the majority of selections and that may even include one or two players who didn't start this weekend.
And it was a big FPL week for James with four Tottenham in the team and a Bench Boost active. It went well, but is the good work about to be undone in Gameweek 2 with the proposed Wildcard now unlikely to be played? That would likely mean no Erling Haaland this weekend and possibly no Manchester City coverage at all!
