The case will now move to federal court. Discussion is heating up in the legislature over a set of bills designed to create a cannabis distribution system in Michigan although heavily opposed and considered dysfunctional by Michigan's cannabis reform community. Detroit group primarily comprised of black canna-business owners and professionals Sons of Hemp is formed to help support the emerging cannabis industry and takes on the City of Detroit as one of its first acts. The Feds and Native Americans stand off in South Dakota over land and resources, and tensions continue to build.
