Will the PS5 get Starfield and The Elder Scrolls 6? Or after Deathloop and Ghostwire Tokyo, is Bethesda no longer going to appear on the PS5? Plus, we dive into the many lingering questions about the PS5 we still have before launch, the situation around Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered, and more!
On this week's packed episode of IGN's PlayStation Show, Podcast Beyond!, host Jonathon Dornbush is joined by Max Scoville, Lucy O'Brien, and Janet Garcia to discuss all the big reveals from the PS5 showcase, including PS5's price, the PS5 release date, the PS5 launch date, and the many lingering questions, and exciting possibilities about the PlayStation 5. We dive into Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Demon's Souls, God of War's sequel, and... Hitch on UMD? Trust me, it makes sense in context.
On this week's episode of Podcast Beyond!, IGN's PlayStation show, host Jonathon Dornbush is joined by Brian Altano for an episode even Pepe Silvia would marvel at. Plus, the duo looks ahead at the big games still to come for the PS4, and the PS5's launch window, in 2020 and beyond (BEYOND!), and Jonathon talks himself into three different arguments for and against PS5 launch dates. Have questions, comments, Memory Card stories, or something else to share? Write in to beyond@ign.com!

BEYOND! On this week's episode of Podcast Beyond!, IGN's PlayStation show, host Jonathon Dornbush is joined by Brian Altano, Max Scoville, and Lucy O'Brien to discuss the unexpected news of an upcoming Ghost of Tsushima co-op mode, and the current state of Sony's single and multiplayer approach. Plus, more discussion about the upcoming WB Games reveals, talk of why we're loving Mortal Shell, Fall Guys, and hot new game Dark Souls III, and a look at Max Scoville's personal 10 favorite PS4 games. Programming note: Beyond! will be off the air for the next two weeks while Gamescom is underway, but we'll be back the week of September 7.
On this week's episode of IGN's PlayStation show, Podcast Beyond!, host Jonathon Dornbush is joined by Brian Altano and Max Scoville to discuss the impact Halo Infinite's delay may have on both the PS5 and Xbox Series X's launches, and the entire generation going forward. On a special second episode this week of IGN's PlayStation show, Podcast Beyond!, host Jonathon Dornbush is joined by Max Scoville and Brian Altano to discuss Sony's latest State of Play presentations. The cast goes into the PS4, PS5, and PSVR game reveals, what worked, what didn't, and what the future of State of Play can look like.
On this week's episode of IGN's PlayStation show, Podcast Beyond!, host Jonathon Dornbush is joined by Brian Altano, Max Scoville, and Lucy O'Brien to discuss the biggest PS4 and PS5 news around, even as we question whether we'll finally learn about the PS5 price and release date this month. Plus, the cast dives into what they're playing, the big PlayStation updates for Marvel's Avengers, and Jonathon interviews some of the team behind Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, which is now available for PlayStation Plus subscribers!
This week on IGN's PlayStation show, Max Scoville, Brian Altano, and Tom Marks discuss August's PlayStation Plus games, which include the brand new Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, a slapstick take on battle royale that's already cleaning up on Twitch. The last totally unconventional multiplayer game to launch on PS+ was Rocket League. Meanwhile, a Doritos bag seemingly leaked the new Call of Duty logo, Hideo Kojima is NOT working on a horror game with Junji Ito (yet), Ghost of Tsushima gets a patch that makes the game more accessible but also more difficult, and Ubisoft was briefly working on a King Arthur-inspired game called "Avalon." If you have any complaints about this week's episode, please direct them to Jonathon when he's back from vacation.
BEYOND! On a special bonus episode of Podcast Beyond!, host Jonathon Dornbush is joined by Brian Altano to speak with Sucker Punch's Jason Connell, the art and creative director of Ghost of Tsushima. Full spoilers ahead! But Jason speaks with the two about the design of the world, combat, and our newest obsession, Ghost's photo mode.  Learn about how GoT changed through development, how its black and white mode came to be called Kurosawa Mode, and much more.
On this week's episode if IGN's PlayStation show, Podcast Beyond!, host Jonathon Dornbush is joined by Lucy O'Brien and Tom R. Marks to discuss the recent PS5 preorder rumors and news from Sony (don't worry, you don't have to run to Amazon just yet), Spider-Man PS5 news, and much more. Plus, the debate over #DiscsIn or #DiscsOut rages on as Lucy and Tom weigh in on the topic.
On this week's episode of IGN's PlayStation show, Podcast Beyond!, host Jonathon Dornbush is joined (again!) by Brian Altano, Mitchell Saltzmann, and Janet Garcia, to discuss their hands-on time with some of Ubisoft's big, upcoming games. Janet and Brian discuss why they had so much fun in the world of Watch Dogs: Legion, and Mitchell discusses what did and didn't grab him about Assassin's Creed: Valhalla's hands-on. Plus, it's maybe the 30th episode where we predict PS5 price and release dates, because rumors don't stop coming.
IGN's weekly PlayStation show sits down to discuss what is possibly the last PS4 first-party exclusive, Ghost of Tsushima, Jonathon Dornbush, Brian Altano, and Janet Garcia speak with reviewer Mitchell Saltzmann about his take on what makes Ghost of Tsushima so amazing in his review. And the rest of the cast gives their takes on what works, what doesn't, and what players can expect when they jump into the game.
On this week's episode of IGN's PlayStation show, Podcast Beyond!, host Jonathon Dornbush is joined by Tom R. Marks and DualShockers' Cam Hawkins to discuss the potential price increase PS5 games might bring, the state of FF7 Remake Part 2's Development, Tom's Marvel's Iron Man VR review, and some Kingdom Hearts. Because Jonathon is finally joined by a fellow Kingdom Hearts fan, so just let them have their fun, please.
On a special episode of IGN's PlayStation show, Podcast Beyond!, Jonathon Dornbush and Lucy O'Brien are joined by director Neil Druckmann and narrative lead Halley Gross for a SPOILER-FILLED talk about The Last of Us Part 2. Seriously, this conversation is full of spoilers, only watch if you've played through The Last of Us 2, or don't mind having the story spoiled for you. (Also, warning, this episode does contain some cursing.)

Small correction, the problems in Ubisoft are to do with just abuse in general of hire ups and their behaviour in the work place. (Some cases include sexual abuse).

it's not just the original - if it turns out you need to know crisis core, advent children, spin-offs, ova's, and mobile games to understand the core story of FF7 remake in the future, then it's gonna be a real mess. especially considering that getting to 30-40 old media(which might take 10+years to finish for all we know) is not that easy - case in point crisis core has never been released digitally, and you need a working psp to play it. crucial plot details left out for the expanded universe to fill never work, and i hope that remake will remain a stand-alone thing

Mercenaries started in RE3, not in RE4, and the things that didn't age well in RE4, are aiming with the left stick, and QTEs. And, come on, finally put a platinum trophy in it.

This is not probable and its probably too late for the next show but I think 🤔 Sony will reveil the PS5 after E3! Reason being that in the summer, not many games come out and the news cycle does die down. If they time it, they'll own the news cycle with the PS5!
