Pastor Mick continues the Minor Prophets study of the book of Nahum, chapter two. This study looks at a historic and Biblical background overview of Assyria's threats to Judah, and the Jewish response of fear ... which turns to hope. Then we walk thru ch. 2 and the description of the highlights of Assyria's destruction that occurred some 38 years later.
Pastor Mick begins the Minor Prophets study of the book of Nahum. Today with a historic and Biblical background of Assyria's empire in relationship with their conquering of the Northern Kingdom of Israel, and their threat towards the Southern Kingdom of Judah. Mick shares thru chapter 1's message of doom to Assyria, as well as God's Compassion and Strength to those who trust and follow Him.
Pastor Mick Catron finishing the study thru the book of Jonah. We see in chapter 4 the incredible compassion and love of God, contrasted with the frustration and anger of the prophet at the repentance of the wicked Ninevites. Rather than the lost, Jonah focused his love on his temporary comfort.
Pastor Mick Catron teaching thru the book of Jonah. We see in chapter 3 the rescued Jonah is again given the assignment for go to the Assyrian capital Nineveh. But what he didn't expect to see was the revival that encompassed the Assyrians. Mick shares some perspectives on on both spiritual and coerced revival, and how this revival resulted in blessing even to the northern Kingdom of Israel.
Pastor Mick Catron teaching thru the book of Jonah. We see in chapter 2 the despair and aloneness, and helplessness Jonah expresses. But we also see his confession of his rebellion and his restoration in his fellowship with God. Little would he expect what comes in chapter 3 when he's re-given the same assignment that he initially ran away with.
Pastor Mick Catron begins our MinorProphets2025 series with a look at "Jonah - The Runaway Prophet", from Jonah 1. We see the specific assignment given to Jonah and the consequences of both his rebellion and his obedience. We also overview the bigger historical picture of how the Assyrians changed after their revival and repentance. This is major as the northern kingdom of Israel is conquered by Assyria in 722 BC, some apx. 40 years after their mini-revival with Jonah.
In this study 16, Pastor Mick concludes this series, taking us back again to Jesus' response in Mt. 24 about signs signaling a closeness to the end of this age. Specifically, we look at the "this generation shall not pass away" verse, looking at various views. Mick suggests that the phrase refers to the continued existence of the Jewish people, who have been targeted all throughout their history, up to the culmination of the physical return of Jesus.
In this study 15, Pastor Mick takes us back to Jesus response in Mt. 24 about signs signaling a closeness to the end of the age. We review the general signs of v. 4-8, then look specifically at the "Fig Tree" sign in v. 32-33. Mick shares prophetic passages about the Jewish return to the land and rebirth as a nation - that occurred in May 1948. Mick also shares some of the remarkable history of Israel's survival while surrounded by much larger nations often seeking their demise.
In this study 14, Pastor Mick continues the study about the Rapture of the Church. This study takes a look at two of the prominent views on the Rapture - Pre-Trib and Pre-Wrath. The views are compared and contrasted with special emphasis on the main point of agreement - i.e., the church will be delivered prior to the outpouring of the final prophesied Wrath of God.
In this study 13, Pastor Mick shares about the Rapture of the Church - What it is, and When it is. Mick leads us thru an examination of the Rapture, identifies various views as to it's timing, and focus on two views that he feel have more merit - namely, Pre-Trib, and Pre-Wrath. He looks at the foundational similarities and shares his practical and pragmatic outlook.
In this study 12, Pastor Mick teaches on The Glorious Return of Christ, in which He will establish His rule and reign for 1,000 years. We look at the Battle of Armageddon as Antichrist's Kings have gathered against Jerusalem and then Jesus descends from Heaven and wipes out those gathered against Him.
In this study 11, Pastor Mick takes us on a quick fly over the last 3 Trumpet Judgments and the 7 Bowl Judgments of God's Wrath poured out in "The Day of The Lord" in the latter part of the time often called "The Tribulation Period".
In this study 10, Pastor Mick takes us thru the highlights of the prophesied time of God's Wrath in the latter part of the time often called "Tribulation Period". We take a specific look at the Trumpet judgements and of the concept of incarcerated demons, in prep for the 5th and 6th Trumpets.
Jason Johnson, our former Assistant Pastor, fills the pulpit for Pastor Mick Catron on 2025-0713. Jason shares a special message fitting beautifully into Mick's End-Times Prophecy Mini-Series, about how the Christian is encouraged and exhorted to live in light of the coming Day of God's Judgment. Jason served as Mick's assistant from 2012-2023.
In this study 09, Pastor Mick takes us thru the commencement of "The Day of The Lord" outpouring of God's judgement in the latter part of the 7 Year Period commonly called 'The Tribulation Period". We see God's Wrath poured on "those who dwell on the earth." The first 4 trumpet judgments, each specifically touching an earth infrastructure issue - land, seas, fresh water, light of the sun and heavenly bodies and their influence on the land.
In this study 08, Pastor Mick takes us on a tour of Old & New Testament prophetic statements about the time designated as "The Day of The Lord". We see that this is the consummate end-times outpouring of God's Wrath thru supernatural and cataclysmic judgments on all who have rejected Him, and embraced the final Antichrist. We see the nature of this specific period, and the timing, said to commence after the 6th Seal cosmic disturbances and announcement of God's Wrath has come.
In this study 07, we read as Jesus opens each of the six seals of the Scroll in Rev. 6. As each is opened, the chronology of the final seven-year period, the "70th Week of Daniel", progresses. We see rise of Antichrist, war, famine death in the first half of the seven years. Then we see martyrdom that coincided with the Great Tribulation persecution beginning at the mid-point, and then the announcement of the 6th seal that, as the Great Tribulation halts, the wrath of God is poured out on those who reject Christ and follow the Antichrist.
In this study 06, we begin a look at the Sealed Scroll in the hands of the Lord in Rev. 4 & 5. We see the incredible joy in heavenly worship and the incredible sadness in heaven when no one was found worthy to take and open the Scroll ... that is, until the Lamb Jesus steps forward. We see God is worshipped in ch. 4 because He's Creator, and in ch. 5 Jesus is worshipped because He is the redeemer of the lost world and souls, and is about to redeem the lost Kingdom of God on the earth.
In this study 05, we look closer at the time known as "The Great Tribulation". This is the period of intense persecution against Jews and Christians that Jesus described as beginning in the midpoint of the final 7 years, upon the Abomination of Desolation when the Antichrist desecrates the temple with his image and demands worship. We see how this G.T. is cut short by the outpouring of God's Wrath in the time known as "The Day of the Lord".
In this study 04, we look closer at what Jesus said in Mt. 24 would be the general signs of the end of the age. These "signs" start after Jesus' resurrection and ascension, and continue throughout the "70th Week of Daniel", with more frequency and intensity, until the end of the 7 year period concludes with the return of Jesus to establish God's Kingdom.
